OU is actually a pretty good team right now but distance is probably the least prioritized of the event groups.
They are a great field team with sprints.
They will probably continue to roll through distance coaches. Yeah it’s great to work for a brand name university but putting a distance squad together of walk ons and getting your butt kicked all the time isn’t fun

Why?
Years ago i was a finalists for this job. Edinboro buildings facilities are crumbling, town around the school is non existent, money they use to get from out of state kids is getting less and less. Once was a phenomenal program now a shadow of what it once was. Most kids they turn into studs transfer right after....they told me after my interview that their top 2 kids on the men's and women's side wouldn't be here in the fall. Plus the distance coaches are the ones leaving, all hired by the same director!
I turned it down even though i would run the distance program and be making WAY more money then at my last job
Do any coaches have any grad assistant positions available or have heard of any? I know a couple people looking for positions.
I have a GA position available at Coker University. Preference for anyone with a multi/throws/jumps background but, I am open for anyone who wants to be a college coach.
