you guys are the ones complaining that the governor of MN signed a bill that lets local school districts decide what their BATHROOMS look like. So much for letting locals decide things.
Agip - you on board with schools putting tampons in the boys' bathroom? You really like that idea?
What about on grocery shelves? People of all ages and sexes, pass by millions of tampons daily and not once has anyone burst into flames.
You're right. I'm going to vote for the guy who faked a bunion to get out of military service, and then called members of the military losers and suckers.
You voted for the guy who lied about having asthma to get out of military service already.
Trump didn't call members of the military losers and suckers that's a lie spread by your cult...
Not surprisingly, you missed the point.
Whatever Walz said about his military service, I'm not finding it to be disqualifying (at least, not yet).
I don't find Trump's draft dodging to be disqualifying. Lord knows, there are more than enough other reasons to vote against him.
Whatever the circumstances were with Biden and military service, I didn't find them to be disqualifying.
You're the one talking about "stolen valor"; it seems to be a big issue for you. So it's hypocritical of you to criticize Walz on this issue but to give Trump a pass.
And Trump most certainly did call military members suckers and losers. You give him a pass for that?
I'll save you the trouble of responding. "Fake news. MSM. Liberal media." We've heard it all before, it's beyond the point where your conspiracy theories even register anymore.
Trump rejected the idea of the visit because he feared his hair would become disheveled in the rain, and because he did not believe it important to honor American war dead, according to four people with firsthand knowledge of the discussion that day. In a conversation with senior staff members on the morning of the scheduled visit, Trump said, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed.
The president has repeatedly disparaged the intelligence of service members, and asked that wounded veterans be kept out of military parades, multiple sources tell The Atlantic.

All those Red State people asking you to take them away? The last party to control the house, senate, and presidency should have fixed the problem, no?

Their mindset - it's an entitlement only when pays out to "other people"

Let it go weirdo.
here's the bill walz signed. You tell me what you think is wrong with it.
A school district or charter school must provide students with access to menstrual products at no charge. The products must be available to all menstruating students in restrooms regularly used by students in grades 4 to 12 according to a plan developed by the school district. For purposes of this section, "menstrual products" means pads, tampons, or other similar products used in connection with the menstrual cycle.

People like free sh*t. Once the government gives the free sh*t away it is political suicide to take it back.
This is why it's destructive to give the free sh*t away to buy votes and it's always the Democrats giving away the free sh*t to buy votes.
80% of the national debt is "free sh*t" Democrats gave away that never got paid for.
Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, food stamps.... on and on and on.
Well meaning programs designed by morons with absolutely zero forethought or consideration of anything beyond the next election.
Social Security is a ponzi scheme sh*t show and it won't have any money by the time I retire.
And it's cute that you hate Ayn Rand solely because you've heard other people say they hate her.
You won't turn down social security. It'll be there when you retire.
Ayn Rand was a stupid, hypocrite, that didn't understand the things she railed against. Not surprised that you find her profound.
I've never said anything about Rand one way or the other. I just know a lot of stupid people rail against her so she must have been on to something.
Everyone loves the free sh*t. Why would I refuse it when Warren Buffet is taking it??
The solution isn't me screwing myself it's keeping people like you who don't have any common sense out of the government.

Don’t lean into the weakest part of the argument. If somebody has already paid into it, it’s not hypocritical for them to accept the $.
Some people have reasonable arguments about either phasing it out or adjusting benefits and managing immigration amnesty in a way that helps payroll taxes to improve solvency of the program (those younger and more likely to earn for decades before asking benefits). And to do so in the context of a reasonable overall economic plan.
But there are still many Republicans who don’t want the program significantly changed.
and if the elected Republicans really cared about taking care of it, they would have made a major push for it when they’d had control of Congress and the presidency. But only a relatively small minority of them are actually serious about taking care of it.

Trump is alleged to have sought $1 billion from oil executives at Mar-a-Lago for his 2024 campaign. He promised to lift drilling barriers, gas export moratoriums, and pollution regulations.

Not always. The Republicans do it just as much, but the target audience may be different.
There were Trump's escalating handouts to farmers that couldn't sell their soybeans to China because of his tariff policy:
The spending surge began in mid-2018 when USDA started writing checks to farmers and ranchers to pay for the damage from Trump’s trade war, which brought about higher tariffs that crushed agricultural exports and commodity prices. Farm sales to China plummeted from $19.5 billion in 2017 to just $9 billion the next year; as producers continued to hemorrhage profits in 2019, farm bankruptcies jumped nearly 20 percent last year.
There was also Trump tax reform bill of 2017, which was a gift to the ultrawealthy but had very little benefit for the rest of us. Here, though, I think Trump was not just buying votes, but currying favor with the billionaire set in this country in the hope that it would result in campaign donations down the road:
Households with incomes in the top 1 percent will receive an average tax cut of more than $60,000 in 2025, compared to an average tax cut of less than $500 for households in the bottom 60 percent, according to the Tax Policy Center (TPC).[1] As a share of after-tax income, tax cuts at the top — for both households in the top 1 percent and the top 5 percent — are more than triple the total value of the tax cuts received for people with incomes in the bottom 60 percent.[2]
Policymakers and the public should understand that the 2017 Trump tax law was skewed to the rich, was expensive and eroded the U.S. revenue base, and failed to deliver promised economic benefits. A 2025 course correction is n...
It's over 1 billion views by now. No wonder the Hyena-nettes are melting down.
Elon has also extended a space talk to Kamala. Why won't she do one?
Exactly.
Why wouldn’t she sit down for a public conversation with a self-important internet troll who has endorsed her opponent and whose last two political “Spaces” events have been marred by glitches?

I'm 100% on board.
I'd wager the pollution bit is just leftist fantasy added on to the story.
Education is local now. But you should have national standards that children get the same basic education as they move from state to state.
And federal funding is very important to give equal opportunity to all American children.
You want New York and California students to have an even greater advantage over those in poorer red states?
3rd world countries with atrocious educational systems handle schools and funding locally. If you want to further our trend of reducing the middle class, Trump is the guy to get that done for you. All of Trump's 2.0 policies send this country into a very dark place. So much so that he distances himself from them until he forgets and reminds us that he owns these ideas.
His policies are so bats!t crazy that Republicans don't even talk about them publicly. They say... "It's just Trump being Trump. He will never follow through on that stuff".
