The facts aren't all in, despite what both "sides" like to pretend they know conclusively. Self-defense, excessive, justified, reasonable, apprehension, subjective, etc. all that stuff needs to be objectively analyzed in view of all the evidence, which is something most Americans (and their government, apparently) aren't interested in doing.

I guess you'd have to be brutal if you're an ICE guy, dealing with Mexican invaders all day long. You'd have to be pretty cold-blooded and merciless, or you couldn't do your job deporting these teeming wretches of refuse. As Trump once so famously said "To WIN a war, you have to BE a war."
Seriously: If any of you haven’t seen it, take a look at the video of him showing up at the car. Not sure if his glance at her makes it to a full second (and with her wife right there). He couldn’t even pause to pretend that he might have cared about what had happened. One of the most inhuman things I’ve ever seen.
And then, apparently, left the crime scene nearly immediately.
In fairness to him: It IS possible that that’s because her wife said something like, “You just murdered my wife, get the f*** out of here.”
And THEN he decided to start respecting citizens….for a few convenient moments.

What is it like to be an adult (assumption here) and have your entire identity tied up in another person? Especially when that person is a pathological liar and you have a compulsion to believe every one of his lies which absolutely know are lies. We can see that it torments you in the desperate justifications and manic mood swings of your posts. I pity you.
Jonathan Ross is getting a raw deal from the liberals. He only had a split second to decide what to do and he took the wrong course of action. But I guess the bigger question is that ICE probably only had authority to take pictures of the car and license plate. The second and third officers had no right by law to make her get out of the vehicle. So I don't see how they can prosecute the shooter for this colossal blunder since he was in plausible danger from the car, but the whole scenario was extrajudicial so the family may be able to get civil damages for the actions. Clearly a lot wrong going on with both sides here.
I cannot imagine that more shootings are incoming. Just look at the MAGA on the ground journalists' videos. People are jumping in front of cars, throwing things at LEOs, hurling non-stop intimidation and curses. More bodies are going to pile up here with lots of inexperienced and hot-tempered agents in the fray. I don't think even a Kent State type of scenario will stop the government escalation and the liberal anti-government actions. This is the proverbial rock and a hard place with no compromise in sight. This is very scary

I really do not see any way for the two sides to deescalate. The partisan reaction to seeing the same videos show that the public is almost as far apart as the protestors and agents are. I really think some of the worst street violence in American history is on the horizon.

I agree with you swipester. It's reached a boiling point. Liberals and MAGAs can't co-exist within the same system. The pure hate is just everywhere - every aspect of American life - workplace, worship houses, commerce, schools, internet, government. Total hatred all over American society.
I support the mission that ICE is carrying out in that we have millions of illegal aliens in the country who migrated here for economic reasons outside the immigration system. I do not support the current way that ICE is carrying out that mission by ignoring the regulations that govern their legal actions. It is highly unfortunate that thousands of people who were unable to get hired by local and state law enforcement (many probably because of questionable incidents in their backgrounds) are getting their chance to be LEO under tremendous duress.
