Vance was an investor and board member of a start up in Eastern Kentucky which not only went bankrupt within a few years, but reportedly forced workers to work in unhealthy conditions and ended up hiring migrants from Central America. Vance's people say he wasn't involved in the day to day operations of the company; that may be true, but we'll see if this story gains traction and ends up being another black eye for Vance and the Trump campaign.
