This has been answered before, but for clarity: Courts have held that voter ID checks are equivalent to a poll tax prohibiited by the US Constitution.
Fraud related to not showing ID is rare for several reasons. A fraudulent voter would need to know the name and address of a person to vote in their place and be pretty sure that person would not vote. Double votes are almost always caught, so the fraudster would have a high chance of getting caught.
The same is true for mail in ballots. They must either be intercepted before mass distribution (easily caught), or intercepted from the registered voter's address. Individual stealing of mail ballots happens, but is rare and is done by people voting for all parties so it is not a significant source of fraud. When people find their ballot missing and request another, the fraudster vote is cancelled and often caught.

A cornerstone promise of his first term was to build a wall that Mexico would pay for. Mexico said no way Jose, and Trump ended up building only 50-60 miles of new wall, and had to steal the money from the DOD. Fail.
This time around, it was to be tariffs (the most beautiful word) which would make us unimaginably rich. He gave up the tariffs before they even started, for a pittance -- a promise of 10,000 troops. Mexico has made this promise many times in the past, as recently as during the Biden administration. Fail.

Honestly, I had no reason to not give him the benefit of the doubt. Yes, I thought that it was odd to see a billionaire reality TV star elected as our President, but 40 years ago I supported former actor Ronald Reagan with relatively good results. As a result, I was cautiously optimistic.
It took a lot shenanigans from Trump to turn me against him, but he surpassed that with room to spare.
