Rob's running again. Our visitors from Tennessee for the last 5 days have finally left. They nearly ruined us. They cut up his shoes and he ended up breaking a toe. They convinced him to run in a dress shirt, and then he was chafing. But they're gone.
Rob's out on I-70 now. Since he took it easy on his aged visitors, he's rested and fresh. He's out there running some 5:00 miles on the freeway.
He was talking about possibly going a full 100 today, and again tomorrow. I think he can do it. That should put us back on track. Leave the lights on in Times Square! #bringinghopethroughrunning

Give it up. Laz did a great job and confirmed beyond all doubt that Rob was cheating and the depth of his cheating, He had not been running anywhere near the miles he claimed. Given his reports, I doubt he ran very much of the claimed route at all. He was well rested and fresh for a reason.
Will Rob's true believers be convinced he's a cheat? Nope. But nothing short of a confession would have done that anyway.
Where's Peter Sagan? Is he alive? We need an update.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if they pulled another "stuck in the sand" move... "We had some trouble with the RV and had to double back but were able to catch up with him 70 miles down the road because we took I-70. He forgot that the watch was in the RV again :-)"

Ah, I love this stuff.
I just missed the RV on my bicycle by a minute or so downtown but don't worry - I'm an ultra cyclist and can catch up on i70 as soon as I finish this coffee and take care of these blisters!
Rob slipped out early this morning under the cover of darkness to run without distractions and has been running for almost 11 hours. The RV is just going to meet him so they can retire for the day after 70 miles
