The real question: will Rojo have the courage to come on here and admit he was dead wrong, or will he take the way of the typical conservative white male and deny reality. The Trump factor killed Republicans in races they should have won, and regardless of whether the Dems lose the house or not (they probably will), the lack of any sort of conservative mandate should greatly bolster Dems chances in 2024, particularly if the economy is improved (likely) and Biden doesn't run again. Long story short, Republicans went home devastated, not Democrats.

This was about as bad as the election could’ve gone for the republicans. They won the gerrymandered house seats and maybe a Nevada senate seat, which gets canceled out by their loss in PA. They need to get out of their media bubble. When you’re surrounded only by people who agree with you, you get overconfident. Just look at all the posts on here from 3 days ago predicted wins in Oregon, Washington, and NY.

My official prediction of a 52 seat GOP is very much alive. You do realize that in AZ, both Lake & Masters are expected to pull 60-65% of the election day drops (which are yet to be counted) and Adam Laxalt is increasing his lead in NV. Even if Walker were to lose the runoff, we are looking at a 51 seat GOP in the Senate. I always said that Mastriano needed a miracle to win the Gov race in PA.

I'm happy the GOP took control of the House and is just a couple days away from taking over the Senate too once AZ & NV are done counting votes. Walker will be the 52nd seat with a runoff victory next month.

One of the major problems with the Establishment GOP, is that they spent hardly any funds in the Senate races in AZ, WA & NH- I put the blame on the useless swamp dinosaur Cocaine Mitch because he knows that more MA-GA victors lessens his chances of winning the Majority Leadership. I hope Cocaine Mitch gets primaried out of office when his term is up.

I'm stunned by how expensive everything is every time I go to the store. A bag of chips now costs more than $5? Mind blown.
Fair or not (and if Trump was reelected I still think inflation would be an issue), the party in power gets blamed when people are having pocketbook issues.
Verdict: Its going to be a bloodbath for the Democrats in two weeks.

I'm THRILLED that my prediction was wrong but I don't think the GOP went home devastated. I'm thrilled that Trump was repudiated last night. It was a BIG night for DeSantis, bad night for Trump. DeSantis/Kemp showed if the GOP nominated intelligent, non-woke candidates with records of accomplishments, they would do very well. If they nominated con-men like Trump and Walker, they get beat.

I think in the long term is was a fantastic nigth for the GOP. They picked up the house and the Dems have to be scared shit**** moving forward if Trump is kicked to the curb. Most of the country isn't woke. They are worried about immigration, crime, economy, etc.

I hope you’re right. I suspect that if Trump gets kicked to the curb, he spends 2023 and 2024 doing everything possible to sabotage the election for DeSantis. (Or whoever the nominee is). Trump only has power because his supporters follow his direction. A narcissist with power and support is a danger to everyone…. Can’t imagine he’d just stay silent through the next election. He’ll be out there ranting about the elites who stole the republican nomination from him.

In AZ as they haven't counted any election day votes- only the early votes and the election day votes heavily favor the GOP.

In NV Laxalt has 2.7 point lead right now.

You are prematurely celebrating. It ain't over yet.

Are you even paying attention? GOP already has 49 + AK, which will be won by either a red or a rino. 51/49 is already out.

NV has a margin exceeding the remaining uncounted ballots in clark county's turnout report. Cortez Masto would have to win 100% of them and not lose ground anywhere else. Unlikely.

The Librarian voters in the GA runoff aren't likely to switch to D either. This is all setting aside poster's valid point about remaining AZ ballots being from election day.

Well, only 7 states have a bigger population than LA County by itself, and they have to count mail-in ballots.

I actually only voted cause I got scared of posts like this and Jamin saying the WA state senate race was close with that Trump loon. So maybe Rojo and the rest of the media were always wrong, but also maybe all the predictions pushed unenthused people, like me, to vote just out of fear. Things can be worse beyond $7 Ruffles.

Lots of incorrect info from BW, as per usual.

The GOP had 48 plus Alaska. If the Dems win NV, AZ, and GA, they would be at 51.

In NV, she should have to win about 60% of the uncounted dropbox votes in Clark to close the gap.

In GA, there are a lot of white conservatives who aren't going to turn out just to vote for the CTE candidate. He was already running about 5% behind the other Republicans in statewide races.

NV has reported 80% of the votes counted with GOP Laxalt head by 2.7%....for 24 hours with no update.

80% votes counted as of yesterday morn -- none since then?

Assuming Dems hold Ariz, if GOP wins Nev it comes down to the GA runoff (Walker win would give GOP 51 and Dems 47 with two "Is").

I keep checking for Nevade updates and none posted for 24 hours.'

Suspicious is it not?

Watching Fox News hosts come to the realization that the nation as a whole is quite different than the viewers that buy into their bullschidt each day is fascinating.

They seem perplexed that they missed the fact that young people are not onboard with overt fascism, election denying, demonizing immigrants, love of guns, school book and curriculum bans, tax cuts for wealthy and restricting their decisions on abortion.
