Completely disagree. Firstly, the journey itself is fascinating. But, aside from that. I don't think there is a nothing book out there that would be quite like this for someone to pick up and likely make them better. You could strip just about any book down to just the training plans and make it a few pages. But you wouldn't understand the buy in.
Of course, all training is simple. But to get the most out of what sirpoc has done you are adding in tons of little things. You only need a bit of phisiology in there. The science isn't even massively important. It holds a place, but the main appeal surely is the huge structure this provides?
If you think it's just running the suggested paces and doing that over then you are probably missing the bigger picture. If anything, I think it's the opposite of what people think it is. It's not actually a starter plan but actually as strange as it sounds, to take you to the next level, but not quite the level of doubles or where and what elites do. It's a totally new philosophy really. It's also nothing like 80/20. I know that also sounds strange. But I've seen people compare it to that or EIM. If you know anything about either of them, this is also nowhere near that.
