Floberg strangely seems to run his easy runs actually easy. It's the workouts which show his utter lack of understanding.
He tries to run marathon pace. Whether this is marathon effort doesn't matter. He runs a pace. Is it the pace prescribed? Is it the required effort? Who cares. He wants, needs, to hit a certain pace he has in his head.
He then turns up at his marathon, again showing his total lack of understanding, thinking "hey, I hit 2:33 pace when running my marathon pace" and thus, with tapered legs this will equal 2:29.
He then starts his marathon at a pace he is not fit enough to run but either doesn't listen to his body telling him this isn't sustainable or simply doesn't understand what marathon effort should feel like. The guy has ran a lot of marathons, probably all but potentially 1 or 2 really, really badly, yet he hasn't worked out how a marathon should feel. He is really quite dim when it comes to running.
All this and people are still paying him $120 to be "coached" by him!?
The man is a leech on the running community
