The Dems have a huge quandary on their hands. There is no way they can have Biden run again. The bell has been rung and you can't unring it. When (not if) they get rid of Biden who do they replace him with? Has to be either Newsom or Harris. If it is Newsom, they are going to lose a huge portion of the blacks. Harris? Just an embarrassment. Many Dems would never vote for her.

Repeat of 2020. You all were guaranteeing Biden was not fit and was done.. we all know what transpired after. You tzees are living deep in fantasyland. Keep hypothesising, surely that'll change what's about to happen!

They have completely decoupled themselves from any sense of reality.

Republican Senator Mitt Romney rejects the notion that President Biden isn’t fit for office:

It was like President Trump saying Niki Haley three times instead of Nancy Pelosi; sometimes you say the wrong word... He said Mexico instead of Egypt. Everybody knew what he was saying and that's not an unusual thing.”

I loved my Dad. But if you asked me the year he died I would likely get it wrong. I would need to confirm with my brother who is good with dates. This is normal stuff.

Yet this prosecutor who was given a very tight and compact investigation wrote a report almost as long as the Mueller report who had one of the most complex investigations in history with counterintelligence aspects too. Including gratuitous facts to make Biden look bad. Prosecutors never do that when no charges are going to be filed.

Keep in mind that this guy was the guy that made sure Andy McCabe was fired minutes before he would collect pension from retirement from the FBI. The DOJ had to settle over that Trump hit job.

These guys are all very ambitious and look to make the most of their chance to be in the spotlight. This will turn out to be a nothingburger in the sense that everyone knows Biden's age and do not expect him to be as sharp as he was many years ago. Trumpers' opinions don't matter as they are not voting for Biden anyway. They are cheering wildly because they think this validates the right winger lies they love to hear. It will just make their loss an even bigger shock to them when the day comes. Gary should have bottles of anxiety, blood pressure and depression pills lined up for November. It looks like Sally is eager to join him in his bunker.

You know how I know this stuff doesn't matter at all? Because we all already know how voters are split on these guys. There are an immaterial number of previous Biden supporters who are now going to say "wow, this guy is declining badly so I'm gonna go vote for the 77 year-old treasonous criminal rapist who said he may toss the Constitution and will take revenge while playing dictator for at least one day."

Now what does matter is D turnout. If Biden was running against someone else, we could expect low turnout on the D side. BUT since we know that as we approach election day Trump is going to become ever more extreme and will continue to alienate people in the middle or even those who dare question anything about how the GOP conducts itself, Biden once again can simply run on Trump's danger to the country. Trump loves to campaign for Biden.

The American people aggressively fired Trump in 2020, and that was how they felt before his insurrection, 2nd impeachment, and avalanche of serious legal issues. Not to mention D women don't want a rapist in the white house. Trump aint wining unless Biden comes down with some serious illness.

Exactly. Think about how the average independent voter and even moderate Republicans will think about Trump as they step into the voter booth with one of the two possibilites:

1. Trump was successful in stalling and delaying all of his trials for the next 9 months so that he can squash them if elected. He is promising to do so.

2. Trump is convicted in any one of the trials and is waiting on appeal.

IF you think the disdain for Trump was bad in 2020 imagine what it would be like under these conditions as they watch Trump tell the rule of law to Eff off.

Correct. If the polls mean anything (tzees say yes they do when Biden's approval ratings are bad), then close to half of Rs care about trump's legal issues.

And I'll make this prediction now... once Trump loses again, instead of finally coming to terms with the fact that he's a criminal POS that had no business holding office, they will blame the deep state for enforcing law and order. How American.

I have also stocked up on popcorn for what is beyond the election hill for the GQP. A reckoning has to be in order... Will we see a bigger version of J6 as we watch the base hit rock bottom? Are they going to continue worshipping a cemented stone cold criminal loser even as he turns 82 in 2028? How are R house candidates going to keep running on trumpism when orange Jesus is irrelevant? Without trumpism, what will the GQP campaign on? Who/what will lead whatever is left of the right?

He was wrong on that but he did get the last laugh.. and he may yet be proven right about trump's legal issues though. We may see the orange jesus behind bars depending on how he reacts to his next great loss.
