Katyal says on his Twitter feed that he thinks scotus probably won’t touch the case.
“I do not think the Supreme Court will hear Trump’s appeal. Of course, anything can happen and it takes 4 of the 9 Justices to vote to hear a case. But Trump’s argument is so weak and the Court of Appeals decision so thorough and well done, I can see SCOTUS voting not to hear it.”

Agip - He said he was "freaking out." His words not mine. He thinks that Trump won't face a trial before the election. That is why he is freaking out. The guy has argued more Supreme Court cases than pretty much anyone. He knows what he is talking about.
