Exactly. This is like a guy who can just about swim a width of a pool wearing arm bands saying he's a world class swimmer and going for the world record swimming the channel next week, JUST TO GET funding and ATTENTION, to FAKE A RECORD.

This guy is desperate for media attention and fame, and doesn't give a TOSS about the charity.

He was always planning to fake the run/record.

OK, seems everyone knows he's a fantasist and everyone knows the 2016 London Marathon was cheated followed up by a lot of bullshit about a 3:12 from Dave and his wife Terrie, apparently, according to his non-coach Neil Featherby, to get the 5000 pounds from Virgin for going sub 3:30. And we all know there are other suspect things about Dave and what he's supposedly done.

The problem is the sponsors are now committed and to save face have to go along with the pretense, after all as Vicky says "this is all for Charity".

Also, judging by her response, Vicky seems to think the problem most people have is with his running ability, she can't seem to grasp the suspect nature of some of his previous so called 'accomplishments' and untruths which by association discredits him, the charity and the sponsors.

Neil said that Dave received £5000 from someone for going sub 3:30 but we don't know from who and it is not listed on any of Dave's donation pages. Virgin is just the donation page host. It's an indication of shady business going on but the identity of the victim is unknown. Maybe it's from Nicky at Mattressman?

Dave can do this in 3 weeks if he does 40 miles per day…but he will miss the London Marathon.

This 1st day was a debacle for Dave. He needed at least 93 miles.

Dave is short by about…44 miles.

There is another big problem with DAVE'S TRAINING.

Dave may be LYING about his training also.

There are several highly problematic findings in his training history:

1) Dave has been a heavy smoker for 41 years and stopped in 2016.

2) Dave just started running in Nov. 2014.

3) Dave has been running for a total of 2 years and 5 months.

4) Dave is 49 years old.

5) Dave says that in his training now…he runs 120 Miles per week.

1) How many runners have you seen in your life who are running 120 Miles per week after only running for a total of 2 years and 5 months?

2) How many runners have you seen in your life who are running 120 Miles per week after only running for a total of 2 years and 5 months…and are also 49 years old???

3) How many runners have you seen in your life who are running 120 Miles per week after only running for 2 years and 5 months…and are also 49 years old…and also smoked 2 to 3 packs a day for 41 years.

This guy clearly lied about his marathon time. Missing all the timing mats save the last one suggests that he may have cheated as well. If he was just boasting down at the pub, so be it. But he is using his running "accomplishments" to solicit material support for his LEJOG attempt.
