Unfortunately, San Celemente despite being all sophmores last year, had no break outs this year. It's very unlikely they will be going to nxn this year or next year and I think Rich overhyped them. Here are the speed ratings from last year.
Those Lowell results are actually insane. Lott and Cook both went under 14 on the course last season and you already know what went down at state. I’d be on the lookout for Ryan Fitzpatrick tho, had a breakout track season culminating in a 9:04. He could honestly take the state individual D5 title if all goes well
Seems like they just avoid any big meets and lay low the entire season. Seems to pay off nicely at the end. Their girls team made NXN despite not being ranked at all before CIF in 2022.

They most certainly are. If they can just focus on staying consistent and avoiding injuries, they could be one of californias best teams. Ayala had a nice bounce back today. I hope Rich moves them up to sweepstakes at woodbridge.
Beckman seems to be 8 deep so they could still suprise us with break outs later in the season. It feels very hit or miss with them at this point in the season.
