To be clear. The current regulation is the opposite. You cannot make a medical claim without evidence that meets the FDA standard.
“Might” isn’t evidence. If the FDA changes their rules then you’ll get dozens of products selling water saying “might” help with cancer.
A clinical trial is needed. If you have a supplement that you’re so confident in - you should be able to get funding for the trial.
I posted something to this effect, too. The supplement companies must explicitly state on the label “these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a disease.” That removes their product from being regulated as an OTC medication.
Funding for drug trials is almost always by the companies that are going to make money off of selling the product. NIH doesn’t fund drug trials. Their mission statement is to fund basic science only. (That’s what my mentor was working on.)
Supplement companies in the current regulatory environment are actively DISINCENTIVIZED from doing clinical trials. Hence my mentor (Eric Secor) not being able to get funding to prove whether or not bromelain would work in adult asthma.
Yeah exactly.
And, if you want the government to run most drug trials - to avoid some “conflict of interest” with funding - that’s billions and billions of $ in extra funding. How does the NIH decide which trials to run? Would require reworking the entire funding scheme of medical science in this country and charging a lot more to taxpayers.
Great news! 11 members of the FLCCC alliance have been nominated for positions in HHS under RFK Jr.
These medical professionals risked their careers to speak out about the corruption of the FDA, the censorship of medical professionals, and the failure of the CDC to provide timely and accurate information during the Covid pandemic.
How about I clarify myself. I’m a highly advanced reasoning so hear me out. I believe it’s the same for the one you definitely secret admire: Khamis.
I have relatively completely knowledge compared to the next best dude anywhere on the planet 🌎! That’s what I really mean when I say that. So thanks for asking the question.
in this world, there are 2 types of conspiracies, one that serves the one true Jesus God and the other the serves Satan! Conspiracy per se is neither evil nor good in and of itself just as sex per se is neither one of them per se as well. The space-time nature of sex and the space-time nature of the conspiracy is what makes or breaks God your master!
instead what makes a subject good or bad in space and time is precisely it’s space-time attributes and characteristics, isn’t it? The unique peculiar contents of space and time is what converts sex or conspiracy into good or evil categories. You yourself have championed looking at the individual space-time peculiarities of Shelby Houlihan, Kenyans, Salazar etc before you could come to any conclusion about their doping.
similarly that’s what I do when I come to conclusion about the contents of subjects I adjudicate over including those of conspiracies! I’m no different from you except in terms of masculine boldness and courage. While you chicken out like a kitty cat at the sight of all conspiracies i being Physics Lion King with a majestic mane enter and pass judgement on them morally and responsibly like Hercules!!
Jim ONeil has been nominated to serve under RFK. O’Neil a biotech investor who certainly operates within the current “system.” He comes from a pharma background
More evidence of status quo rather than revolution.
Yes, business as usual, just like the libs and Biden/Obama/Harris....business as usual. Are you like a janitor? How can you be so ignorant and biased?
You clearly don’t know anything about the appointees. They are not going to break the status quo - they exist within it. I think this is good
Clearly I do. I just don't have to go on and on about it like you. I'm a Pulmonologist having graduated from Vandy followed by a 2 year Fellowship at UAB. I could type multi paragraphs on the subject without even thinking about it----but it would all be over your "janitor" head. I know more about appointees than you do about yourself.
In addition, your liberal brain would never admit defeat, hence you aren't worth it. I've barely posted on this thread but read enough to know that you are "out there" as a person. Good luck!

Cool bro. Doesn’t change the fact that Trump has appointed pharma-connected, vaccine loving, status quo types besides RFK (and battacharaya, but he’s an egghead academic at heart so not too different)
O’Neil is another great example of staying within the biotech pharma ecosystem.
Trump knows the US system is highly productive and world’s best. He doesn’t want to blow it up.
I’ll note that even if you write a whole paragraph about why you won’t respond to me, you’re still conceding the argument by exiting the thread. I may be “out there” but you’ve yet to provide any evidence for your claims beyond “libs bad”.

No he’s not. He’s conceding that he doesn’t want to waste his time arguing with an arrogant, pompous, liberal zealot. Who can blame him?
I mean, you failed to get anyone on the fence to get vaccinated against Covid despite years of investment and “sweat equity” (you actually accomplished the exact opposite because of your behavior), you failed to get Harris elected (you and all the other self righteous, “intellectual” pompous as$holes in your orbit), and, yet, here you are, again, displaying a whole other level of narcissism because you lack humility. High IQ, painfully, painfully low EQ.
But, hey, you’re still winning on that “pure,” venerable cause of fighting voter ID requirements because communism or something. So, winning? One day you will gain maturity and wisdom. You are still a fool, a smart fool, but a fool nonetheless. If only you knew better.

Conceding, exactly. Note he hasn’t actually made any arguments beyond listing his credentials and calling me a lib. If he wants to actually discuss the nominees, I’m here to listen.
It’s always the guys who say nothing who claim they are beneath arguing. It’s because they know they have nothing to bring to the table.
RFK neutered on day 0 (if the roids haven’t done it yet)
Wow Bhattacharaya is a fan of lockdowns. Direct quote:
If it’s true that the novel coronavirus would kill millions without shelter-in-place orders and quarantines, then the extraordinary measures being carried out in cities and states around the country are surely justified.
Arguing for herd immunity when 900k of the 1 million covid deaths had yet to occur. Brilliant.
At least he’s also cozy with Pharma and biotech. I’ll take it.
He also declared "the pandemic essentially over" in the spring of 2021, about 6 months before the Delta & Omicron waves resulted in another 400k deaths, disproportionately among younger unvaccinated people.
Being wrong isn't the worst thing if one learns something from it, so we'll see what he does next.

It’s true. He’s still an academic so should be basically fine at the NIH.
He’s also from ultra-lib Stanford so not exactly some maverick outsider.

They are going to break the status quo to the extent that my powerful prayers on my knees will petition the Lord Of Christ and Prophet of Prophets to ensure it gets broken 😠 .
the ways of the righteous man pleases the Lord and sways His soul!
