Here is Kari Lake, that piece of trash as a human being, basically calling for an insurrection.
If you want to get to President Trump, you’re going to have to go through me, and 75 million Americans just like me,” former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake told Georgia Republicans Friday night. “And most of us are card-carrying members of the [National Rifle Association]. That’s not a threat, that’s a public service announcement.”
This one’s going to be in prison eventually. She actually had electability in AZ if she hadn’t scared the middle off.
Today at his rally he used the “I took those boxes right out in the open and nobody said anything back then” defense.
let’s see if that works in a court of law. I guess it would set a new precedent. Crimes are ok if you don’t work too hard to hide them.
Haha! The logic circuits in Trumpers has always been something out of Catch-22. “The government that I ran wasn’t good enough at stopping me from committing felonies. Therefore, innocent! Yay!”
Yeah, that line could be a conceivable defense for some of the conspiracy charges, but a defense that amounts to “I was just more incredibly careless than anyone could have imagined” doesn’t work with NatSec docs.
And I’m guessing that no one said anything because they just figured the boxes contained golf trophies and pictures of himself. What he did is so preposterous, nobody would say, *you know, someone oughta check those unattended moving boxes for nuclear secrets then get all in a huff if there are any there.”
I mean, basically everyone I know hates inveterate liars who have an endless supply of flimsy excuses. Most people have long been annoyed or angry with politicians who regularly lie about a fiftieth as much as Trump does. So I still can’t figure out why so many people bend over backwards to support his lies. Seriously, nobody I know of — not of any political party, age, religion, etc. — could put up with a person like Trump if they had to deal with him in their daily life.
But maybe that’s because I’ve always assumed that people hate the lying itself. Maybe instead lots of people just hate being lied to but don’t care at all when someone lies to people they dislike. But I guess that still wouldn’t explain why they’d support a guy who lies to them and would feel more personal contempt for or indifference toward them than the Clintons, Nancy Pelosi, or Chuck Schumer.
The partial logic I had for this was the guy who wrote in 2016 that he voted for Trump as a “wrecking ball.” And Trump is a big “eff you” to the system, to the people they hate. I get what displeases them, but the guy isn’t a surgical strike against their enemies; he’s a dirty bomb in the middle of the entire population.
