Good point. It's easy to miss some of the less-mentioned absurdities in the never-ending torrent of absurdities. As you say, yep, Biden has gone after LOTS of Trumpers....and just plain ole' non-libs. The proof is right there in front of us.
Good job, Sally! GREAT point!
Sorry, MAJOR flaw in my argument above: The Biden DOJ HAS gone after those poor, poor, poor "HOSTAGES" who attacked our capitol and tried to stop the peoples' will regarding who should be our next president.
Oops.
Attacked the Capitol by being allowed in and taking selfies.
Yes, Trump's political record has clearly been a losing one for the party. His only victory was over a very wounded unpopular Hillary Clinton, and even there he lost the popular vote.
But despite history clearly showing Trump to be a loser , Trumpers think he is going to win. Why? Because Trump tells them that and they believe all the nonsense he tells them to believe. And they HATE any elected Republican that dares tell them the truth.
Trump is a blessing for Joe Biden. Trump is one of the few people who guarantee Biden's reelection.
A "wounded unpoular" Hillary Clinton? The NYT gave her a 93%(!) chance of winning. It's true that the contest was between two highly unlikeable candidates...but also true that Trump won. Have you seen Biden's numbers lately, because it's starting to feel like 2016 in here again.

Ryan J. Reilly @ryanjreilly In case you missed it: “A man who was convicted of manslaughter for killing a civilian while he was deployed in Iraq nearly 20 years ago has been arrested and charged with assaulting law enforcement officers at the Capitol on Jan. 6.”

Why was he still not locked up? Did a liberal DA release him early?

Hillary had baggage and yes both were unpopular. Trump won the electoral college, Hillary won the popular vote.
Trump is more hated now than he was in 2016. You have to admit, the Republicans have done very poorly in elections with Trump as their leader. Haley is right, Trump is a losing commodity for Republicans.
Biden does not inspire. Trump does, but he inspires people to vote against him. Haley would beat Joe, Trump wouldn't. If Haley was the candidate, Joe would drop out (in my opinion).

As a result of the conviction, Richmond was dishonorably discharged and sentenced to three years in military prison.
In IA, where the very Christian Trumpsters dominate (and were sure to vote for one of the least moral and least Christian people in recent American public life) the stories were about how nothing can stop the Trump juggernaut and how he owns the souls of the Republican Party.
In NH, the political reporters are talking to more reasonable human beings so the new stories are 'hey boy a lot of Republicans really really hate DJT.'
Such terrible reporting. Tilts the scales.
I'm sure as we get to confederate bible belt states again, the stories will return to 'Hey Boy Republicans really really love DJT.'
Reporters angle their stories depending on who they last spoke to, rather than give a broad view of what is going on.

Does anyone know where I can find the orangeman thread so I can point out to all these trumpanzees that one exists.
This is Viktor Orban, the Prime Minister of Hungary. The M@ga movement holds Viktor as the model for their new brand of American conservatism. Trump routinely praises him as "smart," "amazing," and the model of a "strong man" that America needs.
Tucker praises him and broadcasts his show from there to enlighten his viewers.
As Prime Minister, Viktor... - Banned same-sex marriage - Praised Putin and blocked EU aid to Ukraine - Condemned multiculturalism and "race mixing" - Describes him as "anti-immigrant," closed borders to non-EU countries - Passed sweeping laws that discriminate against the LGBT community - Rewrote the Constitution after taking power, ensuring perpetual minority rule - Seized control of the National Media, revoking a platform for the opposition party - Launched an assault against independent journalism - Celebrated, in his own words, Hungary's transformation into an "illiberal" and "Christian" democracy There's a reason M@ga puts Orban on a pedestal. When people tell you who they are, believe them.
Still can’t figure out why Trump is so hellbent in heaping praises and promising blanket pardons to those arrested for crimes on Jan 6th.
First he said the trouble makers were all Aunt Tifa. Fakes wearing Trump clothes. Is he pro Aunt Tifa?
In court and elsewhere he is adamantly insisting that he ordered a peaceful protest. If that’s the case wouldn’t he despise what the vandals and cop beaters did that day instead of singing songs of praise to them? Especially if they contributed to his own felony indictments. He should be angry at their actions. No?
call me crazy here. But I think there is an ever so slight outside chance that Trump just might be full of sh!t.
4 more years of Biden is going to suck. I was really hoping both Biden and Trump would be unable to serve and we would forced to move on.
yeah fair point all this prosperity and calm is just so boring.
We need more scandals. More insurrections, more lies, more impeachments, more corrupt cabinet members, more calls to terminate the constitution, more revolving door cabinet members. Definitely don't vote for Boring Joe. Who needs that? Snore.

You idiots demand Fox News be taken off the air and then whine about Orban being a dictator for behaving EXACTLY like you do.
This will be a boring thread compared to the Trump one, and that's a good thing of course. The incompetent, criminal, narcissistic, egomaniac is no longer President, so we can expect not to be bombarded with nonsense on a daily basis by our new and improved President Biden.
Here's to a joyfully boring 4 years (or more) with Biden.

Prosperity and calm?
Bro, are you 65 years old or something?
Calm = WW3 popping off.
Prosperity = Everything cost 3x more and no one can afford a home.
You need to turn the TV off and go walk around the old folks home.

heh, close enough to 65 yeah.
you must not have lived through the 70s or 80s. What we have war-wise now is not all that impressive. It's something, but nothing like what we olds grew up with.
but heck, the US had actual big wars in the 90s and 00 and 10s. I'm sure you are old enough to remember those.
Wages are rising faster than costs, unemployment is very low, household balance sheets are solid... people are fine. Try living in the 80s when unemployment was 7%, inflation 4%, we were constantly having proxy wars all over the globe, Japan was eating our lunch...and those are considered the good old days now. Grow up.
