Kofuzi picks up the local 5k age group win in 19:36 this morning! Andy's for everyone!
It still astonishes me how someone could run that high mileage consistently for so long, with no major injuries to speak of, and still be so slow. For awhile a few years ago, the dude was consistently running 100mpw, and barely cracking 20 in the 5k. I'm close to his age and have no real talent. If I could run that kind of mileage, I'd be in the 16s at least.
Sub 20 for a M45 guy is a solid time. But it makes him ringing the PR Bell at the Runna PR Stunt (pun definitely intended) all the more ridiculous. Over a minute slower than he was at that shameless event.
He never follows a coaches advise, always wanting to do his own thing. Maybe he'll listen to AI, or Runna will pay him to listen. He'll sell some subs with today performance.
Today's episode of the Believe in the Run Podcast was epic. They spent a good twenty minutes trashing their listeners for doing what they ask people to do in ever video: comment on the video. Apparently they'd rather you not watch the video if you hate a shoe. They're also totally unbiased and everybody should just watch any other video and they'd see there's no difference even though the brands pay them tons of money for travel and other things. All of their commenters are just loser dudes who don't run say Thomas and Robbe.
If you can believe it, it went downhill from there. The podcast ended with Robbe and Thomas sniffing Thomas' Skechers Aero whatever shoe and Robbe saying that they should get a straw and slurp up Thomas' leftover sweat.
And they wonder why the comments on their videos are negative?
Floberg is one of my favourite running influencers and really enjoyed his new video. Amazing set up for his home gym and that treadmill looks super sick.
What I like about his channel is how down to earth he is and everything he does is based around ethics and kindness. Introduced me to a lot of new music artists with the playlists he uses too and the videos are just very well produced.
Did notice there was a small cameo from RanTo Japan and Cole gibbons in the video too. Then in the comments Floberg calls him ‘his boys’ 👀
Please let this be a cameo. 2 brits and an American training together. Think the brit boys are a bit faster than Floberg over the marathon currently but could be what he needs to catch them up. I think they’d bounce off each other so well and the banter would be hilarious. Make it happen guys

I hope you're trolling. Floberg's name should not be in the same sentence with Cole and RTJ, let alone be featured in a video with them. He's super cringe wannabe athlete.

He literally calls them his boys in the comments section. Go look.
Seems there’s a good chance they are all friends and talk with each other.
Not sure why Floberg name shouldn’t be in the same sentence. They are all successful YouTubers (Floberg might have the most subs) and really quick runners. Yes Jake and Cole are quicker but Floberg is still faster than any runner where I live by some distance. Training wise he could easily work with them

Good little video FOD put out today. A FOD/sirpoc84 crossover of sorts.
Probably the only two guys in the UK hobby scene I have never heard a bad word said about.
Massive fan of FOD and sirpoc training methods which has brought me back to life with some running I never thought it would get back to.
I know FODs channel isn't really more than a 10-15 minute format type of thing (which I quite like) but maybe they could actually team up, at a race or something and maybe dig into this some more. Honestly think it's the kind of content his viewers would enjoy , assuming this goes down as well as I imagine it will.
Totally agree, LRC is a pretty toxic place and these are two guys I don't think you ever hear anyone say "oh I met with this guy and he as an a**hole". All reports are they are good fellas.

Yep, enjoy FODs training and race videos. Seems like a genuine, hard working family man just trying to improve his running in a logical and methodical way. Every interaction you see with other runners during and after races are friendly.
I wish he wouldn’t shout into the camera so loudly haha but I understand the games the game and you have to do it to keep the attention of the TikTok brigade these days.
Speaking of which, RanToJapan apparently ran and won Run Melbourne 10K while on holiday today (29:36)
Thats better than my 5k PB time lol! Unreal performance. Even though I can’t really relate to them I still love following the journey of these ultra quick people like RTJ, Bester, Felton, Floberg & Bowden.
It’s no different to me watching the Wimbledon final today. Just because I can barely have a rally of 3 shots doesn’t stop me watching them with intrigue.
I think too many here look on these top athletes with jealousy rather than interest. It’s the only thing which explains some of the comments against them. Nearly every YouTuber seems to have kopped here flak at some point but it’s the really really quick ones who seem to get most agitation
Thank you. I really appreciated James time because without him, I wouldn’t of been able to fill in the blanks… it’s very obvious on paper how this method is structured but diving into his mindset and how he approaches things was fascinating. He’s also a top guy 👍
It’s hard to get across everything you need too in a short space of time but hopefully it got enough people interested to go and check out the strava group / Reddit / letsrun thread

What’s the Reddit group please?
If you’re planning on doing anymore delves into individual training plans, then my requests would be Nick Bester or Michael Otteson
