Article says Americans who consider themselves to be "suffering," those who rate their current and future prospects at or below a 4 out of 10 has reached a new high. To be clear, it's still under 5%, which is good news.
BUT...independents and Republicans rate higher on the suffering index than Democrats. I think this sheds a lot of light on why Biden supporters are likely to claim that the economy is "good" and the countless articles I have read that suggest that the rest of America, to be frank, "doesn't get it." If you are doing well, like the many high profile lefty journalists who say Biden's problem is "vibes" about the economy and not the economy itself, it's very easy to overlook other ppl who can't make rent, can't afford to eat in restaurants, and are having their personal relationships deteriorate due to economic factors.
Unfortunately, for these cheerleaders, disaffected people tend to vote...and they aren't going to vast their vote for the current President, no matter how much those who have made gains under Biden call his opponent a "tyrant."
Yeah, but those exact same people say economy was great under Trump. Were they really doing better when Trump was president?
Almost everyone was doing better under Trump because inflation wasn't out of control.
This is an objective fact.
The Democrats used to be the "working man's party" and now all Democrats have open contempt for the working class.
You're right...to an extent. In the fourth year of Trump's term, Covid became a pandemic and we saw a massive economic retrenchment. It was hung around Trump's neck like an albatross, even though a lot of it was due to the governor's of individual states and, arguably, moral panic.
And it is both relevant and fair to point out that the economy hasn't collapsed under Biden. Things are more expensive, and a lot of ppl have fallen out of the middle class, or are just never going to get there. But if you own stock, you did pretty well, regardless.
Am I the one who votes for the party that has tried to legalize crime?
Nobody is trying to legalize crime, but again, I don't think you care either way. If crime suddenly disappeared, you'd be left without purpose. You bring up crime statistics to gloat.

Speaking of legalized crime. If a President has total immunity to commit crimes he feels are crimes needing to be committed, why not Senators and Representatives?
I’m sure a guy like Matt Gaetz would love some of that sweet immunity. He even begged Trump for a pardon in January 2020.
He is a close associate of Trump and a Republican so I’m pretty sure he would never abuse it. Seems like a stand up guy. No?
President Joe Biden admitted Friday evening that the U.S. southern border is not secure after years of the region experiencing catastrophic surges in illegal aliens pouring into the U.S. due to Biden’s immigration policies. B...
Cuomo was accused of sexual harrassment and was promptly condemned by the Democratic leadership and electorate. Biden called for him to resign and he did. This in stark contrast to how Republicans have handled politician scandals.
Many other posts of supposed democrat crimes are just people with no affiliation to the democratic party. Hunter Biden is closer, but still not a politician himself. Agip is consistently posting Republican officials committing crimes. This is a clear difference some do not seem to understand.
Nimbra Haley isn't even eligible to be president. Most experienced Constitutional scholars have ruled her ineligible under the anchor doctrine pursuant to The Article II that was drafted by the Founding Fathers for protection of the American electorate from inveigled extraneous threats to liberty and freedoms.

It's Nimrata, not Nibra, and--constitutional scholars aside--she's a US citizen because she was born here. (In Bamberg, South Carolina.) If she could tone down her hawkish ways on Ukraine, she'd be a natural fit for a VP nod. She won't, so she's likely laying the foundation for a 2028 run. I wish her luck, but if she is the nominee, it will be disappointing to see her as the alternative to Gavin Newsome.
Right now, the markets have shifted slightly and NY Congresswoman Elise Stefaniak is leading the VP field for Trump's running mate:
That makes sense if Lee Zeldin had beaten Kathy Hochul for the Governship...but if Stefaniak gets the nod, it should *scare the bejeeezus* out of anyone who wants to see Biden coast to reelection. It means the GOP thinks New York is in play. If Trump wins New York...it's over. (Prediction: he won't, but the dems will have to take all that extra money from other democratic strongholds to keep it from happening.)
in a new Siena College Research Institute poll released Monday, new data shows that the governor has her highest ever job approval rating at 56 percent.
but you have to remember that it's: California, New York, then Illinois in terms of democratic strongholds. She is underwater with independents and, frankly, doesn't have the charm or charisma of Cuomo. It looks like the GOP is poised to go for the jugular. We'll see how it plays out.

Giving Biden credit for the stock market makes even less sense than blaming Trump for COVID.
The stock market would have done as well or better if the Oval Office was unoccupied.

Meanwhile, back in reality the Democrats tried to get rid of the police in 2020 and major liberal cities decriminalized many crimes including shoplifting which has forced hundreds of stores to close.

Where specifically has shoplifting been decriminalized?

Where specifically has shoplifting been decriminalized?
The fact that you're completely unaware of this is proof the media hides reality from people.
The proposed law is designed to protect store workers from violence, but retailers have slammed the move as an invitation to thieves "to come in and steal."
Google “Shoplifting in San Francisco” and you will find more than 100,000 hits. And you will find lots of YouTube videos, where you can watch a single thief, or an entire gang, walk into an SF Walgreens or CVS and empty the s...

You are echoing the liberals' anchor doctrine which has been thrice debunked by the very array of Constitutional scholars you disparage with such callous effervescence. Nimaraba cannot be eligible for president. And she is more than "hawkish" on Ukraine -- she has ADMITTED publicly that she wants Ukraine to win the war against Russia. Nice try at spin there with such purported coy and abandon.

Who doesn't want Ukraine to win the war?
The problem is they can't no matter how much money and weapons we give them so supporting the war is supporting the needless death of Ukrainians and conscripted Russians to achieve absolutely nothing beyond enriching corrupt politicians, lobbyists, and weapons contractors.

2 words ... Robert Menendez.
Another 2 words ... William Jefferson
These do not help the trump supporter cry of "The Justice Dept. is 100% corrupt". Jefferson went to jail more than 10 years ago and Menendez has been indicted for corruption by the Biden Justice Dept. Most democrats won't lose any sleep if he goes to jail. I certainly won't because all should be held to the law.
