trump was literally trying to force the Ukrainian government to influence American political figures by announcing a fraudulent investigation of the Bidens. Trump was trying to get Ukraine to do that...you are correct to be against that. Kudos. You are arguing the first impeachment was correct to hold Trump to account for doing that.

The folks who want to have Trump as a dictator (which is all Trumpettes, whether they admit it or not as well as all the "I'm can't stand Trump but..." crowd), don't seem to think ahead.
Even if you like/love Trump (seems weird to even type those words), once we go to an authoritarian system, there's no going back. Who will be dictator for life after Trump? What about the one after that? Which dictator will be the one you hate but have no way of voting out of office, or even expressing displeasure with?
