In a year, if the crazy thing happens and Trump is elected, it indeed will be a sad day for all of America and democracy.

Some might be happy initially, but some years down the line they will be denying to their kids and grandkids that they actually voted for the conman. It will be hard for them to explain that they didn't notice all the signs that he was conning them.

One huge difference is that Joe actually answers questions rationally with facts. Trump responds quickly with an off topic, non-fact talking point and then quickly moves into a tirade similar to what your drunk uncle might do at a party. That first lie has been corrected numerous times but to Trumpers it won't die. Biden did no quid pro quo but actually pressured a Ukraine official out at the behest of all our allies because that man was NOT investigating corruption.
As for the rest, no prove of Joe Biden doing anything wrong.
All of Trump's legal problems are because of Trump's law breaking. He is the only one responsible. I know many worship the guy, but let's hold him accountable!

One statement, and two options, for the Trumpers.

- Apparently, the supposed QPQ of Biden makes the explicit QPQ of Trump OK. Damn, if they could only remember what their mothers told them about multiple wrongs!

- Options regarding the supposed Biden QPQ:

A) It's total BS (which it is). Or,

B) The Rs in the House are too incompetent to impeach a CLEARLY guilty president.

C) A and B (if A were true).

From 2006, Biden spoke clearly, didn't get lost & confused, eyes are wide open, not squinting, no whispering. Forget his stance on abortion, just look at how he is talking. It's perfectly fine.

What a stark contrast with the walking, barely functioning corpse of today.

What's particularly interesting is that, OF COURSE, these massive shortcomings in logic and decency didn't just show up in America. They were there all along, of course. Which would seem to make the common political downfalls of thousands of politicians over the centuries over far, far, far less than Trump has said and done quite perplexing.

So, proto-Trumpers USED to just PRETEND to not like bad behavior in politicians? Why would they have done that?

Or, and it's strange to label this as good news, but I guess it would be: It ONLY applies to Trump? And when he's gone, they'll go back to holding - or pretending to hold - politicians to reasonable standards?
