Trumpers saying America needs and should have a dictator.
this is a fundamentally different country than it was pre-trump.
and these are among the worst Americans ever to have lived.
They honestly believe that based upon their whiteness alone, a Trump dictatorship would be good for them. Boy oh boy, would they be in for a surprise.pic.twitter.com/vy5n01jpTw
If anyone is still foggy about why Trump continually praises dictators it is stuff like this:
Yesterday Belarus President Lukashenko signed a bill granting immunity from Prosecution for the President and past presidents. Vlad Putin also has one of those.
You think Trump would like to have one of those SWEEEET immunity forever for anything bills cross his desk as President?
And a vast majority of his supporters would also love for him to enjoy such forever protections from the "deep state".
I suppose this is the good news from IA…m’aga is shrinking the party.
In total, Edison Research estimated turnout at 115,000 on Monday night — down from 186,657 in 2016 and lower than 2012′s 121,503 and 2008′s 119,207.
Yeah hope it wasn't just the cold... there was a picture of trump and his posse and it's still all the same disgusting characters including Guilfoyle. Maybe she will be trump's VP pick haha.
our betrayal of Ukraine and Europe and the world is not democracy failing, it's government making a terrible decision.
democracies make terrible decisions frequently. Bad, but not as bad as voting in the guy who tried to foil democracy and says he'll do it again if given the chance, just better.
Don't conflate the issues.
"Betrayal" is a strong word (and by strong I mean stupid) in this case. I would hardly call giving $110 billion in aid a betrayal. Anyways, nobody is actually talking about stopping funding of the war full stop, Republicans are temporarily using the issue as leverage to pass legislation on the current border crisis.
I know that agip already put you in your place on this one. But it bears repeating:
1) If we abandon Ukraine at this point, as the GOP is pushing for (only because that is what Trump tells them to do), then yes, it will absolutely be a betrayal of historic proportions.
2) If you believe that Republicans have any interest in passing legislation to deal with the current border crisis (and taking away one of their most effective election talking points) then you are astonishingly stup!d.

Nobody is saying to completely abandon Ukraine. Nice strawman attempt.
Framing a halt on aid as a "betrayal of historic proportions" is also nothing but inflammatory rhetoric. The reality is that Ukraine is an extremely weak and corrupt ally to the US who I don't believe we owe much to. Maybe if they weren't ruled by corrupt oligarchs, they wouldn't need to rely so much on US aid to survive.

There are many reports that she has ridden more than the Trump train. I seem to recall he dismissal from Fox had something to do with her showing crude porn to others.

you remember that we literally gave the USSR weapons and gear to fight the Gemans right? You think we should have let the Nazis win that one because the USSR was led by bad people? And fought Germany basically alone, with some help from UK? How do you think that would have gone? Maybe useful to have allies? If you don't know the word 'ally' you should look it up.
Grow up. Measure your foes. Ukraine is a friend of the USA and the West.
Russia is an enemy of the US and the West.
Ukraine has eliminated something like a third of RU's armed forces. I wouldn't call that weak for a country so much smaller than Russia. And they are eliminating our enemy for us.
Ukraine is a struggling democracy. I know 'democracy' is anathema to American right wingers right now, but historically this country has played a needed roll defending democracies against tyranny.

Perhaps they are holding up aid because Biden is asking for Dirt on Trump first. Or maybe he is asking that Zalensky just simply announce that they are investigating Trump on CNN in order to have a coveted white house visit.
Maybe Biden is conducting his own "Perfect Phone call".
Just kidding. No President is as immoral and reckless with our allies as Trump. But he sure is cozy with our enemies isn't he?

Ukraine is not and has never been a democracy.
I realize you love the brand of "democracy" Zelensky is practicing by jailing and torturing all of his political opponents but it's not a democracy.

Not a day goes by without A-Dolt filing the board with Vlad Putin's propaganda on just about every issue. Every thread. One might conclude he is a paid Russian bot. But he is not that smart. He does his Putin Trolling for free.

Lol so your heels are still dug in deep on the quid pro quo accusations. Even Zelensky denies the quid pro quo accusations and the manuscripts reveal very clearly that Trump never made the military aid contingent on Zelensky's cooperation in an investigation (I'll link the manuscript below and give you the opportunity to provide exact quotes to prove me wrong on this).

FFS zelensky isn't going to make a lifelong enemy of Trump, someone he might need help from! And Zelensky does not want to be accused of interfering with domestic US politics. Come on. You people are even dumber sometimes than you let on.
It's 100% transparent that Trump was doing what he always does - putting his own personal interests way way way ahead of the interests of the nation. And you encourage and enable that corruption. You encourage him to break his oath of office and the Constitution over and over and over.

Exactly! Trumpers have been saying this since the impeachment. Zelensky is not going to go on the record against Trump when his nation's survival depends on the US. His primary role is diplomat to get nations to assist them to not become Russia. Diplomats don't get involved in Trump's problems.
