I bet you would really hate to live in a country where all citizens' votes count equally. No wonder you love the orange blob.
I guess you have not noticed but we have a pesky little document called the US Constitution which doesn't allow a popular vote of the president but instead attempts all of America into the equation and talks about an electoral college which decides who is president. You okay with that? Or are you going to bellyache and whine about how the popular vote doesn't matter?
I guess you have not noticed that it is not the bible, but a living and evolving system that has been amended quite a bit over time. Do you respect amendments and if there is for this change would you accept it?

Of course I respect amendments. No where in the US Constitution has there been an elimination of the electoral college - so you would agree with 100% conviction that the electoral college is the rule of the land? Yes?
A better question. In principle, do you think unequal voting power is ok in a democracy?
"Unequal voting power" LOL - you just outdid yourself Ginamator. You have said some dumb things but that is over the top. But I still think you are a great guy - just a bit misguided.

Oh so you think it’s sustainable let alone fair in a democratic republic for 400,000 people in Wyoming to have the same senatorial representation as 40,000,000 people in California?

That's what the presidency and the house are for. Take a 4th grade civics class ffs.

So you want the 80 million people in NY and Calif. to decide all elections? Does that seem fair to you?

Of course I agree, because it is the current rule. AND I support it no longer being the rule of the land because it does not reflect a democratic voting process. I would be thrilled to see this amended. Wouldn't you?

Yeah, in a truly democratic country, a presidential election is decided by all votes. Your personal feelings aside, that's how it's supposed to work Sally.

"Sustainable"? It's been sustained for 235 years. It is likely to be sustained for another 235 years.
I don't think that the electoral college is such a great idea. And 1 person in Wyoming having the same voting power as 100 people in California is "unfair".
BUT, these things are given. They are in the Constitution. They aren't going to change. So, all talk about popular vote and "fairness" is a complete waste of time.

Lolz, that is pretty fkn dumb, even by your standards.

So you want NY and California deciding every single presidential election? Does that seem good to you? They are very liberal - is that why you want them deciding the election?
For the 1st Amendment: Has Biden threatened to shut down any news or social media sources for fact checking him? No, but Trump has. So the choice for 2024 is a president who believes he can shut down the freedom of media (Trump) or one who respects the 1st Amendment (Biden).
2nd Amendment: Biden and most Democrats are for universal background checks for the legal purchase of guns. Most Republicans agree with this.
The latest Mood of the Nation Poll shows that a bipartisan majority of Americans support universal background checks and gun licensing. A majority supports an assault weapons ban even while nearly half support eliminating mos...

You might want to take a peak at the populations and growth trends of the states before you run off and do something stupid.
Why are all liberals completely incapable of looking more than 1 election into the future?
California and New York are dying. Texas and Florida are growing.
Illinois is dying. Ohio is growing faster than Pennsylvania.
A better question. In principle, do you think unequal voting power is ok in a democracy?

You never think anything through.
Why would that be a consideration when we are talking about implementing a fairer election process? If the country turns out to be majority red and stupid in 20 years then at least it's going down the toilet with a majority having been behind it.

I'm glad your cognitive limitations amuse you.

Even my parents have disowned me. They say I am too stupid.
