Here's an intelligent version of that position, that the Trumper falls infinitely short of:

1) Europe has been sponging off the U.S. on defense for far too long. We should, carefully and pragmatically, start pulling back and let them do more and pay for more.

2) But, OF COURSE, handling a pull back ANYTHING like Trump is demonstrating above is horrendously irresponsible and dangerous, and all-by-itself should be disqualifying for being CinC.

Simple.

But adolt and the rest of the Trumpers/mouth-breathers couldn't manage that level of balanced thinking if their lives literally depended on it.

But do you suppose that you do it WITHOUT a really, really good and well-coordinated and well-communicated plan with DoD, State, Congress, and about a million other actors....AND the American people?

Any one want to put odds on whether JUST FOR STARTERS, the SecDef or SecState knew that he was going to say those things? And as a bonus, whether they learned about them in the media afterwards, vice from Trump or the WH?

Staggering - and dangerous - levels of incompetence, and you morans (with tens of millions of buddies) still want him as President again.

People who like evidence are called "reasonable people".

There's no evidence Trump and Epstein were even close let alone "BFFs".

There's no evidence Trump ever touched an underaged girl.

The only thing the Epstein files had was an interview of Sarah Ransome where she said she didn't see Trump anywhere but that one of her friends had an on going fling with him. Ransome was 22 at the time.

There's no evidence. None.

And we all know without a shadow of a doubt that you would vote for Clinton in 2016 if all this broke in 2016 despite there being actual evidence that the Clintons were hip deep in pedophilia.

Russia invaded Crimea because the west toppled Ukraine's government and declared Ukraine would be in NATO. Crimea is also 90+% Russian.

Biden pulled out of Afghanistan overnight without telling any of our allies or the Afghans we'd spent 20 years equipping and training.

Trump didn't pull out of NATO. He didn't pull the military out of Europe. He merely suggested it as a negotiation tactic. Why? Because he wanted NATO and Europe to contribute more to their own defense. So he opens the negotiations by pointing out how little the US needs NATO.

The plan was to leave because there was no reason to stay. Everyone was on board with the plan but the Liz Cheney's and John Bolton's of the world.

The plan was to hand over the reins to the Afghans which we'd been training and equipping.

The plan was not to cut and run in the middle of the night without telling anyone.
