History repeats itself. Everyone that thought it would be a grand idea to install a "strongman" authoritarian because he would be on their side learns that the authoritarian is on his own side and his own side alone.

This lesson is getting learned by Hispanics, farmers, Medicaid recipients, Affordable Care act users, Muslims and anyone that buys stuff due to the brilliant free money of Tariffs.

Feel free to refute this by sharing what Trump has done for your individual family and household.

Gist is that the Fuentes Republicans are pushing into the party, and that may push out the Reagan/Bush Republicans. Party in disarray, and not a winning strategy. Dems just have to nominate middle of the road moderates and they should get many of those Reagan Republicans to defect. Or at least a lot of the indies who swing both ways but swung piggie last time.

I suspect you would get different results if you asked: "Do you approve of summarily executing private citizens of another country with bombs that we used to simply arrest without demonstrating any proof they are engaging in drug activity"?

Let's ask, "Should people be convicted of a crime before being executed by the United States government?"

I'd like to think that most Americans would say "yes" to that.
