I play keyboards and guitar and sing a little.
Here are some demos of me playing keyboards in my band -
http://www.putfile.com/flagpolewilly/mediaDemo 1 - White Room - live
Demo 2 - Riders On The Storm - live
Demo 3 - Cold Shot - live
Demo 4 - Lonely At The Bottom - live
Demo 5 - Willie The Wimp - live
Demo 6 - Crossroads - studio version
Demo 7 - Key To The Highway - live
Demo 8 - Easy (just me on piano and singing) - live
Demo Confidence - Confidence Man - live
Our guitar player is amazing, so take a listen to White Room and Crossroads and just about every song but Easy and Riders On The Storm for some really really good guitar.
Yep. I posted that in 2008. Was the second best band I have been in, but the best guitarist I have ever played with. I provided those songs too at that time. You should have been here then, because I have since decided NOT to post any former band stuff.
I am not a great singer, but "Easy" is right in my vocal wheelhouse, so I do have a great recording of that...says me and all humans.
You are making me laugh, so know that, but I am not about to show you video of any of my playing...why do that? I don't care about all the childish comments that people would make about all things from my appearance to why is our bass player playing a Dolphin, but I won't volunteer for that, especially when no one else wpuld provide a like video.
A poster wanted some music. I posted some stuff I recorded 15 years ago because I happened to have it on the machine I was using at the time. You can like it or not. I have no need to prove anything to you beyond that, and shame on me if I did.
I don't have a habit of getting together with strangers from the internet, and I'm not about to start with a Trump supporter...not meant as a slam of you, brother, but after a shared love of music, whether you can play or not, we wouldn't have much to talk about.
By the way, when I do get together with people to jam with, my suggestions usually include:
Oye Como Va (mostly Am, D with room for keyboards and guitar to solo)
You're My Best Friend (because I like I DO want to play after all).
Sweet Home Alabama because D, C, G never sounded so good, and everyone can immediately play, even a bad guitarist.
Dylan's version of Knockin' on Heaven's Door (if you leave out the Am, I show you the door).
Probably some blues.
Then, if people are any good:
Riders on the Storm
Pump It Up (Elvis Costello)
While You See a Chance (Steve Winwood)
You want to show me how good you are, post some music, brother.
For Christsakes, son. The Lord gave you a left hand. Use it.
You should have come up with the blues name "One-armed Willy." That would be more fitting given your playing style.
And stop chopping - play through it. Let them go.
