Agip- NO ONE reads your GOP Crime Blotter. I admire the effort you put in. Some people tell you they read it so you feel better. But they are lying because no one, and I mean NO ONE reads GOP Crime Blotter.
I don’t have any buddies that melted down. And that’s not an answer on why I should be scared. Perhaps there are just people wanting me to be scared instead of just waking up and going to work like usual.
If Trump wins, we will have officially lost Our Democracy.
Breaking: The Colorado Supreme Court rules Trump is disqualified from holding office, citing section three of the 14th Amendment, removing him from the state’s 2024 ballot.
And this is where Democracy dies.
funny how whenever right wingers are caught up in the law, suddenly they think the courts and law enforcement agencies are corrupt.
Have you even been reading the GOP Crime Blotter? If you had been reading it, you would understand the vast criminality of Republican leadership and the massive propensity of Republicans to commit crimes in the name of their political party.
Just so funny.

14th Amendment is a huge stretch. There was no insurrection and they know it. This is a desperate attempt to subvert the will of the people.
This is the definition of election interference. The stuff that Democrats keep screeching about is the stuff that they themselves are guilty of.

I dunno man. Sending an armed mob to attack the people counting the electoral college votes so it never happens…sounds a lot like an insurrection to me. Esp when they were waving trump flags, said trump sent them and trump refused to call in the guard to stop them. curious to hear why that’s not an insurrection.

The Insurrection Act of 1807 was never invoked by Trump on J6, so there was never an "Insurrection."
Congress has not made any declaration declaring the J6 perpetrators as Insurrectionists and disqualifying them from public office, while Trump was acquitted by the Democrat Senate for any crimes involving J6. In other words, he was exonerated by the highest legislative body in the United States for any "crimes or misdemeanors" regarding J6.

It was a pre planned attempt to stop the vote orchestrated by Trump and his insiders. Your logic is that the guy who spurred on the insurrection must call it an insurrection or it isn't an insurrection and has the only power to call himself a criminal or it isn't a crime.
The Senate vote was 57 -43 for impeachment in a Senate with 53 Republicans. It was the most votes FOR impeachment by a president's own party.
The people convicted so far for Jan 6 cannot hold office.

Full of nonsense. Clearly you are taking dumb lessons from right wing media so I’ll let you to it. I will ask you this: if trump was acquitted…why was he indicted by the Feds for j6 crimes ?

Trump was never convicted nor found guilty of insurrection by Congress. The Colorado Court has exceeded their authority. Why is this so hard for you libs to comprehend? SCOTUS will overturn.
You libs need to realize that you can't support unconstitutional rulings.

you righties are all 'states rights!' until you don't like what a state does.

Why is it that you need to lie and say the mob was armed?
Pipes and bear spray they brought with them are weapons when used to harm other people. They improvised in the moment with other items as weapons. About 150 police were injured. Hundreds have pled guilty to those crimes, hundreds more convicted.

first off, it makes zero difference to my argument what weapons the mob had. Second of all, the mob was armed with all kinds of weapons, including guns.
Trump was told the Secret Service spotted people with guns in the mob and Trump told them to turn off the metal detectors so the armed people could come in. Trump wanted the mobsters to keep their weapons for later use in the attack on the Capitol Building. Not be arrested.
Many people in the mob admitted they were armed.
But it doesn't matter - their goal was to stop the Constitutional count of the electoral votes so the House would elect Trump. And the mob got halfway to their goal.
“I don’t f***ing care that they have weapons. They’re not here to hurt me. Take the f***ing mags away,” Trump said, according to Cassidy Hutchinson, apparently referring to metal detectors — or magnometers — that were deterring armed Trump supporters from entering the cordoned-off area where he was speaking.
right wingers would have you think that it's totally fine and Constitutionally appropriate to physically stop the count of electoral votes, because the Constitution has a backup: the House voting by state delegation.
Seriously. that's what republicans are arguing. they have to argue that, otherwise trump engaged in insurrection.

laughable.
Incorrect! Whenever any entity, state or otherwise violates the Constitution, then we have let tyranny take over. Trump was NEVER convicted of insurrection- I challenge you to find it, Baghdad agip. Forget your feelings/hate for Trump and focus on the law. The law has been usurped by an entity that has no jurisdiction over Congress in this specific case.
So, in the absence of a conviction by Congress, the Colorado Supreme Court goes ahead and disqualifies Trump anyway. That's not the way the law works and more specifically this is a direct violation of the 14th Amendment.
Only Congress can disqualify someone from holding office under Section 3 of the 14A to begin with, not a court. This is underscored by Section 5 of 14A which explicitly states: "The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article."
SCOTUS will overturn and Trump will be back on the ballot.
Please explain how the Colorado Supreme Court can bypass Congressional authority and remove a candidate from a ballot in the absence of a conviction.

if that's how this goes, then fine. Unlike 'conservatives,' I support law enforcement and the courts and will abide by their decisions.
