Wow! I never realized Iran was winning the meme war! That must be great comfort to them considering their military is either a smoldering pile of rubble or is at the bottom of the Persian Gulf.
trump has unintentionally awarded Iran control over the Strait of Hormuz. THAT is giving great comfort to Iran. And if Iran has no military, how could they possibly have control over the Strait? But they do. Sounds like maybe they have some items left on the shelf.

They checked the Drone shelf and found that it is quite full.
Spanky has the attention span of a 3 year old and it shows every day. He wants this over. Iran is playing the long, long game.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he was “stunned and saddened” by the photo of an IDF soldier taking what appeared to be an axe or sledgehammer to the face of the statue.
Radical Shias must be at great peace knowing this is their last day on Earth. Thank God we can deliver what they have wanted so badly for so long.
Many Trump supporters are completely devoid of morality. Look at this sicko. Pining to unleash an apocalyptic attack on an entire country, its women and children, because President Daddy is looking extremely foolish.
We said this from Day 1. This war is stupid, the administration had no clear objective, and there is no good way out. Rather than admit the obvious, that you were an IDIOT for blindly supporting this pointless war, you want to dig in your heels and commence World War III. Championing mass terrorism safely behind your computer. You suck.

WSJ covering up the real force behind this war. Israel and its loyalists in America
WASHINGTON (AP) — Gulf allies of the United States, led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, are urging President Donald Trump to continue prosecuting the war against Iran, arguing that Tehran hasn’t been weakened enough by the monthlong U.S.-led bombing campaign, according to U.S., Gulf and Israeli officials.
Right. UAE and Saudis tell US what to do, not Israel

They can do that because they bought the president for a few billion via his son in law, who is now the defacto secretary of state, but holds no official government position.

So you claim Saudis and UAE have the same level of influence over US foreign policy as Israel?

He didn't claim that, and he didn't deny that Israel is a major influence on Trump's decision to go to war. He simply points out what many know and you keep denying -- various Sunni gulf states also want Iran neutered. And they have influence over Trump because they stroke his ego and make him and his family rich, which are the only things Trump really cares about.

yes, probably more power. The Gulf nations could threaten to pull all business from trumps and kushners and Witkoffs - that would devastate the royal family. You know trump would do whatever the gulf arabs tell him to do if they hint at his being banned.
Or they can just start to leak all the corruption trump/kushner/witkoff are guilty of.

this is a better response than mine.
Oh look, trump will give billions to UAE as a reward for their support of the war. Seems pretty clear that the gulf states own trump.
NYT:
President Trump said on Tuesday that the United States was considering offering financial support to the United Arab Emirates, an oil-rich ally that has been contending with economic fallout from the war in Iran.

UAE and Kuwait are the two most impacted by the Strait issues. Saudi has the ability to shift enough of their oil to the Red Sea that they are not really impacted, especially since they are selling at a higher price. The blockade will work. Iran can’t sustain it much longer.

^Someone clearly still doesn’t understand the difference between a tactical and strategic victory.
Yes, tactically the US military has dominated the Iranians. Strategically this war is a disaster for the US and is increasingly looking like a win for Iran and its main supporters—China and Russia.
The US Military had not lost tactically in a long time—we dominated the axis powers, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. But we have not won a war both tactically and strategically since World War II. For example—Vietnam is a Communist country today (the stated goal of that conflict was to stop the spread of communism in SE Asia) and Afghanistan is governed by the Taliban making it a possible training ground for terrorists.
What Trump is doing with this war and in general with his approach to foreign policy is rapidly reversing our last, great strategic military victory by destroying all of our very beneficial foreign alliances / NATO because of muh taxes, muh immigration, and muh woke Europeans.
Russia has benefitted and it has lost in this war. China has mostly lost. Russia and China tested a number of weapons in this war. They pretty much all were countered effectively. The US military gained more experience and proved that it can pretty much cut through a country’s defenses without much trouble. It United the gulf states against Iran. Iran, as a military threat, was set back a decade. Hezbollah was neutered and was thrown under the bus by Lebanon. Iran influence in Lebanon cratered. This war has been very successful and will be over in short order.
Everyone here is trying to find some kind of guiding strategic purpose behind this war. There isn't one. The conduct of the war is just another version of Trump posting on Truth Social; the product of whatever spills from that disorded mind at any given moment. For the first time in history we are seeing "war by tweet".

Not a "major" influence. The sole reason. Israel 1st attacked. Forget that?
Houthis will close off Red Sea at Bab-el-Mandab and Suez Canal. Iran can hit ships off Oman with missiles. The oil production sites, pipelines, desaliniazation plants are easy targets. The Gulf States will no longer be around much longer.

china is the winner.
they are now the stable reasonable super[power, a country that will not take away other country's energy like the US will. China will finally have some allies rather than transactional partners.
energy trades can now be done in yuan in some instances.
the USA is the big loser. we are exposed as unstable, unreliable, irrational and bad at this kind of thing. We have wrecked economies and gifted the strait to iran. Iran didn't dare shut it off until we walked them up to it and let them have the keys to the world economy.
more than anything, this war cost us allies and a massive truckload of soft power. We are exposed as a rogue state no one can trust. We suck.

we will see.
I will agree that all parties except Russia want the oil to start flowing again. that should grease the skids for an agrement pretty soon.
I’m not Jewish, though have read the Old Testament, something most against the Jews have not done.
The bottom line is that in this moment in History, whether Biblical or not, we share a common enemy who has long waged war against the Infidels. We understand our role in their twisted theology, in fact, all do. Even liberals.
There comes a moment a decision needs to be made between fight and flight. We have chose flight against this evil far too long and cannot pass it on to future generations. Now, those in power carry a different attitude. It ends right here right now for those Shias who seek to harm us from a distance.
We will give them the opportunity to debate for generations to come, and we will be a part of those debates. Still leading the way because of our actions standing strong now.
