Maybe they know his fitness better than you do.

Still, the best races' splits suggest he'd do better about 45" slower by the half.

Can't believe how bad this coverage was. We watched Mantz for about 20-30 total seconds of the last 10 miles of the race. Still hard for me to wrap my head around given that this was BY FAR the main thing that people were following for the race. It was all they promoted leading up to it! I actually don't understand why they ignored him all race.

Not sure why everyone tries to do the 1h half. Kipchoge tried a sub 1h opening and still positive split it. Kiptum’s blueprint is the way

A question about the time trials? Is it best to make them 5km or is it ok to change between 5k and 10k every other test?
