Have heard they are down to three people. Don’t know names. But heard two have volunteer experience only. One from Georgetown and one a former volunteer at Alabama.
"Coach Epperson, and before him– Coach Siemers, set the bar for Colorado State cross country very high, and I look forward to building on the progress they made here," Hart said. "Coach Epperson has been an incredible mentor for me, and I feel grateful to have gotten to learn from such a thoughtful, empathetic, and intelligent coach."

I have no reason to dispute this, but I'm still interested in where Epperson went. Did he leave the profession?
FLORENCE, ALA. – The University of North Alabama cross-country program will have a new leader at the helm as UNA Athletic Director Dr. Josh Looney announced the
Where did Epperson go? Interesting that most of the current XC team members did not comment or like this post?
Like the previous poster said, Coach Epperson left for family reasons. While it was sad to say goodbye, the current team is very supportive of Coach Hart’s promotion.
Heard with the new coaching rules, Arkansas shaking up whole structure. No more scummy ops guys or support staff - 10 to 12 countable coaches. Clean house after Bucknam is gone?? Heard Cragg is coming back

Are the SEC and B1G 12 schools going to suck up some key coaches now that they can increase their staffing?

Unfortunately, this doesn't help the sport because too many coaches will run to these P5s for unacceptable professional pay just to be listed as staff. This will ultimately leave gaps at the mid-lower Div. I, DII, DIII, NAIA, JUCO,etc.

Those levels aren't going to exist - at least not in their current form - in a few years lol.

No reason anything other than mid-low level D1 should have to change. Only schools that have to eventually/inevitably pay their players directly will see a significant change in costs
