That speaks volumes. Your body, your thoughts, your needs are meaningless to these "prolifers". Its so easy to force SOMEONE ELSE to carry an unwanted pregnancy, it no problem for OTHERS to tell that woman what she must do. Those telling her have no burden, no cost, it all on the woman. And they don'y even give a damn about her feelings or her situation. All that matters is what they think is right.
Killing innocent people is wrong no matter what your feelings are.
Rape and expecting a woman to live with it everyday of her dead inside life is worse. A fetus is just a bunch of cells.
I’m not saying a political decision is a bad thing. All I’m saying is that people who think this decision was made because it’s morally right reveal themselves as completely hoodwinked by propaganda from powerful political players. Anyone who fails to recognize this is basically admitting they’re just a pawn for monied interests, which, hey, be my guest. I personally think it’s a little “uncool” to openly brag that you are dull enough to froth about whatever the talking heads on [political news source] have chosen for you daily. But yeah, land of the free, go ahead.
To these types of "arguments," all I can say is: Cry harder.
What makes this win even juicier is that the libs are ultimately to blame.
Obama could have tried to pass a federal law protecting abortion (aka murder) when he had a super majority but didn’t. He instead tried to force mandated healthcare on the people. Double points for joe Biden not pushing for it either while VP.
RBG selfishly stayed on the court long past when she should have retired, giving Trump another pick.
And finally, Obama and the left pushed way to hard with their other lane policies and got trump elected with the backlash.
a beautiful chain of events that the libs set off themselves lol.
What’s going to happen on the governor’s race between Abbott and Beto?
It was tightening before this ruling.
Texas abortion clinics started to shut down as soon as the ruling was announced. Women are pissed!
If they vote for Beto, he will keep the clinics open. If Abbott wins, women will be thinking hard about leaving the state or having sex with men in Texas.
@chiselworth. Yes, NZ does have a Supreme Court. But unlike yours it's actually a court, not a vehicle for promoting the political views/prejudices of its members. It's also a bit hard for you to point the finger at the "racism" of other countries when yours had over two centuries of slavery, followed by a century of Jim Crow. America leading the world again.

I don’t know what will happen. It will probably turn some people who were on the fence to Beto side, but that’s the price I’m willing to pay.
Even if beto wins, I doubt the state turns blue and that he will be able to change current laws in the state.
So many males here ready to tell women what their rights are. If you didn't know it was America you'd think you were hearing from the Taliban or even ISIS.
In the case of rape, the baby is ALSO the woman's, and while the rapist committed an atrocity, she KNOWS that its not the baby's fault, internally. To kill her own child adds a trauma to the original rape trauma. Aborting the baby re-traumatizes her. Psychologists call this complex trauma. You assume traumatized women are too stupid, or incapable, to figure this out. The baby can also help a traumatized woman to find focus, purpose and meaning to help her overcome the original rape trauma, which is NOT the BABY's fault. When she gets to the other side, she realizes her own strength, rather than being hounded with shame and guilt.
The whole clump of cells argument is delusional. If it weren't a baby, then why abort? AND if you're going to say its "not viable," think again, as you've then transitioned into psychopathy, as who takes advantage of someone else's vulnerability by murdering them?
But, if you don't believe me, just read what these clumps of cells and survivors had to say:
I accounted for your response in that post. "It's rare so it's fine for rape victims to be forced to carry the baby." I've been very honest with what I believe. I'm just pointing out the worst parts of the decision so that others can see. You believe rape victims should have to carry their rapist's (there you go) baby to term. You do believe that, right? Why don't you be honest now.
I previously said I would be supportive in instances of rape but I'm going back on that. While I'm sympathetic to the horrible situation any victim of rape is in, that still would not justify taking an innocent life. You can call me a horrible person for saying that, I don't really care about your opinion.
You changed your stance after forced rape births became law? Flip flopping on forced rape births? Isn’t that something

Since you didn’t address my claim it is clear you cannot address it.
