It actually worked best with a Democrat president and Republican congress. It’s because the president doesn’t have as much control of the purse as people think. Compromise functions best. The problem with single party rule is there is it gives the party in power a blank check. One can only imagine how bad inflation would have gotten without Sinema, Manchin and the Supreme Court providing a modicum of restraint on the two years when the Dems had complete control. It is not a coincidence that inflation has come down since Republicans took the House. No more blank checks.
It is a pattern that has played out repeatedly. The thinking of citizens that an Authoritarian-Fascist-Dictator could never take control here!

Of course it's not the whole story. There many factors involved. We can hypothesize about the size of the effects of numerous international, banking, energy and war factors on our economy.
But the fact is that the economy has done better under Democrats. And most telling, of all, it's not under one or two presidents, but it's a long established pattern.
Now some might say well thats correlational not causal, but if it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck and looks like a duck, it's probably a duck .

And (2) when provided numerous opportunities by Hannity to say he would not abuse laws to go after enemies if elected, he refused to do so.
These are straight facts, and anyone who respects our constitution and laws would condemn Trump for that.
