Was she a good coach at her previous DI stops - Sac State, TCU, Oregon State? Anyone know much about her?

Her hands were always tied behind her back at those three stops so she was never given the opportunity to see what she could do. Great move for both.

This is a great hire!

Laura was only a volunteer for half of her time at OSU before being promoted to full time. She recruited and ACTUALLY coached at three D1 universities. She will turn UMD into a contender in her first few years. Couldn't be happier for both UMD and Laura.

We would have loved to have a female, but instead we got that snake, backstabber that was mentioned in an earlier post. Bags being packed as I write. We out of here!!

Word on the street is the new coach is all about himself. Everything he does he only does it with what he will gain personally from it. It's all about him, I promise you that! He will do whatever it takes or is necessary for him to move up the ladder, even if it means screwing someone else over or stabbing them in the back to get there. He thinks that he is so much better than he really is. He acts like a big timer but really is probably just a good High School Level Coach. Good luck to all of the current Owls who elect to stay and work with this butthole

I was REALLY looking forward to working with the female candidate that was interviewed. The whole team was even the ones that asked to be transferred reconsidered when Coach Hicks was interviewed. Our voices were not heard.
