Having spent most of my career in the manufacturing business (first with a manufacturing software company and then on my own as a consultant to manufacturing companies), I can tell you for sure that manufacturing is alive and well in the US...before Biden, during Biden, and will be after Biden. The largest manufacturing software companies in the world have most of their business in The United States. The CHIPs Act is great for high-tech manufacturing, and that's a very good thing, BUT manufacturing was already great here in the US. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about.
