This is completely illogical. So because something was a bigger problem a few years ago, it's not a problem today? Changes still need to be made, that is clear. Building a wall is PART of that plan. It's not that difficult to understand.

The law is VERY clear about this. Any other legal challenges will fail.

Truth. This is the crux of the issue. The democrats/liberals are just playing political games. Anyone with any sort of brain would know this qualifies as a national emergency. They all obsessed with opposing Trump no matter what, even when it's extremely detrimental to the country. So sad.

Acccording to the GOP’s and Trump’s lack of action over the last two years there was definitely no emergency. Why aren’t you shocked trump did not escalate this to a national emergency on day 1? It took two full years to start dealing with something this urgent? Why didn’t your leaders do something about this sooner?

The problem with most conservatives is that they don't understand what socialism actually is. Socialism is characterized by social ownership of equity and/or the means of production.

Therefore,

Social security is socialist

Medicare is socialist

Public schools are socialist

Public roads are socialist

Public funding of our military is socialist

Fire Departments are socialist.

Police Departments are socialist.

I left out public hospitals. Most hospitals in the US are owned and run by non-profit organizations. In actuality, most of these organizations are extremely profitable. They just don't pay taxes. But that's another topic.

Any action by the Executive Branch can be declared unconstitutional by the courts. It's called judicial review.

The president can only veto bills. The president CANNOT veto a Congressional resolution--they have zero say. A Declaration of a National Emergency is not a bill. So, Trump is powerless to veto a resolution.
