It is being reported that Jack Smith will use Trumps continuing high praise and public vocal support of the Jan 6th rioters against him at trial.
Upon first read this sounds very simplistic. But the more you think about it, it’s brilliant.
Ask yourself, if Trump truly did not support the violence of that day and these people were acting way outside of what Trump wanted , why is he regularly praising them as patriots? Why would he be promising mass pardon’s for people going against his wishes for peaceful protests?
Trumps legal filings have proven to be a walking contradiction. His actions will likely do the same as he attempts to put on his defense.

We are dismayed to see our peers bring Mohammed El-Kurd to speak to our campus. We find their willingness to invite such a noxious figure into our midst appalling. Thou shalt not stand idly by.

I was thinking about David Duke being invited to speak at Harvard. Of course he would not be allowed. And then I thought about comparing the KKK to these Pro-Palestinian groups. And then realized there is no comparison between the two. The KKK are racists and all that but they are not calling for blacks to be hanged on trees or anything like that. But these Pro-Palestinian groups are far more radical. They are calling for the extermination of all Jews. Think about that. The KKK (as terrible as it is) is far more moderate than these Palestinian groups.
