I was on board and kind of liked the guy then, figured he could laugh at himself a bit, enjoyed the shots he took at deserving liberals, and also believed that he would take the Oath of Office seriously once he got to the White House. My judgments about Trump back then were embarrassingly bad in hindsight. We need to get rid of this criminal opportunist buffoon so fvcking badly. Hopefully, in four more months, we will never hear from him ever again.

His narcissistic meltdown is in full gear. September is also jam packed with important criminal court deadlines and sentencing. HIs campaign is leaking because Trump is a disaster as a candidate. He can't do his ego soothing rallies because they are woefully embarrassing and the hate, bashing of America and praising of our enemies is clearly hurting him with independents.

He needs to do something fast so lets see what Donnie comes up with in his "only I can fix it" brain.

Agreed this criminal buffoon can not be president again. Actually he should have stayed in showbusiness his instincts serve him well there. And his criminal inclinations would have been less dangerous without the temptations from the power of the presidency.

I love Harris and am excited by her presidency mostly just because she is not Trump and she can beat Trump. But Harris would not have been my choice. The crazies on the right seem to be driving the Democrats further to the left in some but not all areas.

My prediction is that Trump will destroy the Republican party and as a result the Democrats will have majorities in both houses. This control will cause them to move too far to the left and the Republicans will win the Whitehouse in four years with a different kind of Republican.

This true. The country needs and is very excited about her defeating Trump. She is winning and shouldn't do anything to risk that.

Certainly she has flaws, but seriously keeping Trump out of office is extremely important so any Harris flaws are insignificant. In the past she hasn't handled media questions well.

As a die hard Trump fan, I was able to get a good laugh from this. Very funny! I also laugh at all the men here supporting Kamala, and posting pictures of Vance dressed as a woman. Nothing says "woman" more than voting for a Democrat woman for president.

Or, she can't talk in front of people without spewing incoherent word salad. Even when she does talk, we know her policies are too radical to be popular. So, as Troll said, it's easier to not "risk it" by not talking. Probably not a huge winning strategy for those voters who are about what's going to happen economically, geopolitically, etc.

Not to get too far out on a tangent. But the "Press Conferences" in the US have turned into an absolute joke. In the traditional sense, the Press conference used to be a serious meeting where the "press" could ask insightful policy questions that they could take back and write their news stories. What we now call press conferences are a race to see who can get the biggest zinger or gotcha between seriously partisan hacks on both sides. They are dumb gotcha theatre and a contest between 3rd rate journalist like Steve Doocy.

Trump's recent "Press" conference was a perfect example of a joke. He announced it with no time for real press to travel to attend. So it was mostly partisan hacks. And there was no microphones so nobody could hear the questions. And Trump held it in his rat infested wedding motel (home base). And of course, Trump told so many unchallenged lies that allowed him to gaslight and steal the news cycle for 3 days. (but in a bad way)

Harris is smart to avoid this because she would be inclined to do a traditional press conference like Biden did. So why would they handicap themselves by playing by the rules when Trump sh!ts on the rules? Let the press squirm and let Faux news cry about it.

The truth of the matter is that the right wing wants dirty and they can't get it at rallies. They want to get their gotchas so they can attempt to stop momentum.

In your fever dreams this might be so, but in the real world Kamala and Walz are focused, coherent, and winning.
