the TN nominee won her primary so she was on the general ballot. Yeah she was too lefty for the district. She lost.

So what happens without a primary?

when the Dem Party had to nominate someone for president without a primary, they picked Kamala Harris, a normal center-left Democrat. She also lost.

Rs complain when primaries pick lefties, they also complain when the party picks a moderate.

Rs don't really have a call on what the Dems do - Rs call every Dem a communist who wants'transgender for all' and that's that. Rs just don't like Dems, no matter what they say or do.

Remember when Obama copied a conservative health care plan backed by Mitt Romney and a right wing think tank, called it the ACA, and suddenly every R thought it was tyranny and socialism? Rs are blind.

You make a good point - I disagree with some but upvoted it.

She was one of the most liberal members of the Senate in terms of her voting record. GovTrack had her as that (but then cancelled the rankings) and a quote from CNN in 2020: "Facts First: Harris’ voting record in the Senate is certainly one of the most liberal, though her record prior to the Senate is more moderate on some issues."

I also believe Democrats had to pick Kamala so Biden's funds could be used for her. They didn't really have a choice.
