Also, does a 9-point spread outperform the most favorable poll to Dems (the Hill’s 2-point spread)? Sure. Hey, what was the average of the polls?
Some fools are probably going to say something about “cope.” I’m sure lots of Democrats would’ve loved a closer result and better Dem/independent turnout, but the really odd take is from anyone on the Right crowing about 9 points being any kind of great performance for a seat they won by a 21-point spread in 2024 in a district that Trump won by 22 that year.
