You do realize building the wall is more popular than tearing down our walls right? In an election, for those not clearly on one side or the other, it can come down to the lesser of two evils. Entertaining the idea of tearing down our borders is honestly just plain irresponsible and Beto should feel embarrassed for offering such a ridiculous notion.

Walls do work. However, President Trump has been clear that the wall is PART of the plan for better border security. He never said it was the ONLY part of the plan.

The fact that illegal immigration was greater 15 years ago does not mean it's still not a problem today. I don't prescribe to the theory that because something isn't as bad it could be, then it's not a problem.

I too am worried about the extreme positions Beto has been taking on the wall.

But keep in mind that presidents are not elected on policy - they are elected on how good a campaigner they are, how well they sell stuff. Charisma. Meaning these candidates will not win or lose many votes based on whatever policies they push.

My worry about Klobuchar is that she is boring - a crap salesperson. She will bore people to tears, and not inspire them to go vote and donate. Harris better, and Beto is the best.

Please dumb libs, you can't compare communist walls to Trump's wall. Communists walls are used to the country into prison. In East Berlin, for example, the wall was built to keep people in. Keep them from defecting. Trump walls are used to keep undocumented people (possible criminals) out.

Trumpers are not screaming for a wall to be built along open-border Texas. Therefore there is nothing to tear down in that republican controlled state. They are screaming about tearing down walls in states that already have walls built. Those democratic controlled states. Never mind that the comment made about tearing down walls was a metaphorical one.
