Why? He mentions a few random crimes by republicans and fails to discuss that Dems commit easily the most crimes.

looking at your graph, really since the mid to late 1970s home values have been appreciating more than inflation. That's half a century! Americans have come to expect home appreciation and build it into their retirement plans.
Plus, not sure how your numbers are put together, but of course home prices in the big coastal cities have gone up far more than the rate of inflation, and that's tens of millions of people having known that for their entire adult lives.
