Something I do know: Afghanistan produced a huge proportion of the world’s opium (believe it was 95% at one point). The Taliban were and are terrorists. The Taliban profited hugely from drug trafficking. Trump negotiated directly with the Taliban to remove foreign troops from Afghanistan, and essentially guaranteed the Taliban’s return to power. You know, the narcoterrorists.
So, sure, let’s now invade Venezuela. But remember, it ain’t a dry heat !!
