emerging in the toilet but that's mostly the china effect. Take out china and they are barely down.

Remember when all we had to do to beat global benchmarks was leave japan out of our allocations?

Only three months to go for our bet and it looks like I'm solidly in the lead. That being said, I did not anticipate the kind of crackdown on big business that we've seen in China over the past few months. So I might win, but for reasons other than I expected.

there's sometimes a fine line between rebalancing and timing the market.

here I felt the market's rise got me to a position with too much in stocks. But the timing of when to rebalance was up to me. Market timing? Might be best to do rebalancing mechanically on set days.
