They SHOULD be pointless, but you Trumpers and religious right nutbars want to make them an issue. The point is that NO ONE should care how an adult person lives their life in a LEGAL way. Also, no one is killing babies. AND, abortion will be legal in the vast majority of states. If Ohio and Kansas passed laws to allow access to abortion, you know that most Americans are for that freedom.
Both sides make them issues to motivate their bases.
The Ohio law was a test run to see how the abortion issue would affect turnout in a swing state. Look for Dems to try to add abortion laws to swing states during the 2024 election (during the 2016 election it was marijuana laws). Republicans do the same with gun laws.
This country was founded on the idea of free practice of religion. An important distinction from the idea of a theocracy. Give unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s. It is not the government’s role to tell people what to believe.
The Ohio law passed because turnout was low and the ads for the bill were completely misleading.
Most people had no idea they were voting to allow 10 year olds to transition or get abortions without parental consent.
They were voting against 10 year old's being forced to have their rapist's baby.
Both bills were garbage.
INCORRECT! The Ohio law passed because Ohioans want access to abortion to be available. Also, a minor CAN NOT get an abortion in Ohio without parental consent. There is a separate law about that. You are wrong as usual. Idiot.
A lot of these identity politics and lifestyle issues you rant on about are pointless, as there will never be agreement one way or another and ultimately do not affect how individuals live their lives. Issues like those are best left to the state level, as it gives people the choice about where they live and who they choose to surround themselves with. That is why the courts got it right when they repealed Roe. If you want to kill babies, move to California. If you want to protect babies, move to Utah. There will never be national agreement, and people in California shouldn’t tell people in Utah how to live their lives. As far as president, the senate and the house are concerned, there are only a handful of issues that should matter: primarily economics / currency and the national defense. Everything else is just fluff used to persuade low intelligence voters on both sides of the aisle.
GOP lawmakers and more blamed Bidenomics while reacting to an analysis that found the typical American household would need an "extra $11,434" to afford the basics.
Democrat propaganda caused people to vote for it. In 2024 the dumb abortion hysteria will have passed, and people will be asking themselves questions about the economy and crime instead of 'will I be able to get an abortion'?
1. Lockdowns and vaccine mandates are authoritarian.
2. Censorship? Like kicking people off twitter for dissenting views? Or trying to get people cancelled and fired?
4. The IRS has been used to target conservatives and conservative groups while liberal groups that are far more sketchy skate by.
1) No, vaccine mandates and lockdowns are not authoritarian. The government has the right and the responsibility to protect citizens when necessary, and the pandemic made it necessary...so said my Ohio REPUBLICAN Governor even.
2) Since when did the government kick someone off Twitter? A private business can operate mostly how they want to with few mandates from the government. The fact that a company like Twitter can refuse service to someone is actually a conservative ideal...you know, wedding cakes and all.
3) The whole idea of being cancelled is really bogus. Famous people have been shunned by paying audiences for years when they do something that is abhorrent. From Marv Albert to Jimmy The Greek to The Frugal Gormet and on up to Louis CK and others. If you say something offensive, a COMPANY might not want to do business with you anymore. That is hardly a liberal ideal. Remember when the Dixie Chicks said bad things about Bush? Ended their careers. Gotta know your audience and not say stuff to offend it.
4) Your IRS comment is crap...you conservatives are just such victims. Big baby.

Dude, you are insane. Polls show that around 70% of Americans are pro-choice. It's a freedom that women had in this country for 50 years that was taken away and is now being slowly given back. You have the minority view here. Abortion will stop being an issue when the vast majority of the states have it as legal again...and that is happening and will be the result.
Regarding the economy, the economy is ALWAYS front and center, and right now the economy is HOT! Crime is always a problem. It's a problem now. It was a problem when Trump was in office, when Carter was in office, when Reagan was in office. A lot of people in this country, and too many of them want something for nothing, and that equals crime.

Are you dishonest or stupid?
There is a LOT of space between "pro-choice" and the abortion for any reason at any time bill you just voted for in Ohio.
A grand jury voted to indict two local officials who delayed the certification of midterm election results in 2022 in Cochise County, Arizona, state Attorney General Kris Mayes said Wednesday. Cochise County Supervisors Peggy Judd, 61, and Tom Crosby, 64, voted against certifying the county’s election results by the statutory deadline in 2022, after months of casting baseless doubt on the integrity of the election. The county only certified its election results after a court ordered them to do so.

Incorrect on all counts!
1. The idea that getting a controversial vaccine should be mandatory for you to live your normal life should concern you. It's authoritarian, immoral and Unconstitutional.
2. Twitter silenced and/or banned conservative & opposing views of the government narrative. SCOTUS stepped in and ordered the Biden Admin to stop coercing Social Media to silence those views.

Thorough a** kicking. Not that you guys make it hard. At all.
It’s not free. I thought everyone understood that.
Uh... we're $34 TRILLION in debt precisely because Democrats think its all free.
Let's see, I think that "precisely" in this context would imply that Ds owned the White House and Congress for the entire history of the debt.
I'm PRETTY sure that doesn't comport with history. In fact, I'm PRETTY sure you don't need to dig deep in the history books - AT ALL - to see an example. Big fat orange guy played a tiny role, I think.
