A crazy fee at that! VTI - a top Vanguard fund has doubled in about a year I think. Its annual fee is 0.03% or something like that. The Hussman fund has a 1.23% annual fee. Just laughable they would charge that when year in and year out they are losing your money.
False! We do not lose money year in and year out. In fact, if you had invested $100 with me at the beginning of 2021, you would already have made over $4! Okay, maybe closer to $3 once you include my fees, but that’s actually a comparable return to a few weeks in the S&P.
Also, your Vanguard reference recalls that the name of their founder was “Bogle”. My name, on the other hand, contains “MAN”. I think that is as good a reason as any that nonplussed investors like Igy recommend my fund for others.
