We are currently carless, looking at used Fiat 500s to give us a half car, preferably standard, which is way more fun to drive. We don’t really want to have a car at all and went without one for two years a couple of years ago, but current work logistics make it just slightly too awkward to go completely without. I’ll bike to work most of the time, when I’m not working from home, and my spouse will walk, but in deepest, darkest winter… Funny story, two used car salesman at two different lots clear across town both asked us on Saturday if this was going to be a third car. Third car? We don’t even want a first car!
Racket, you used language that was just as offensive as Igy has used. I do sort of like you, some of the time, sure.
Not sure where mas has been, it’s been a long absence this time, hopefully not a COVID-related absence.
Back on the thread topic, I’ve left a lot of money on the table this year, moving to cash too early, but surprisingly I feel really good about it. I’ve been really serene about money for months, and haven’t made a trade in maybe six months. While our investments have not skyrocketed this year, they’ve still done well, and at the same time I’ve been sleeping like a baby with no worries about a big correction. Which of course will never come because I’ve prepared for it. And do you know why that is? Because I’m an idiot! 😀
