Regardless of the historically inaccurate polling this far out, it is going to be more difficult for Donnie to get elected again. Fear is a big factor for Presidential elections. we've seen that a third of the country doesn't mind if democracy goes under, as long as there is a Republican in charge. So this is an uphill slog. It can happen here. Trump tried to terminate the Constitution to stay in power and it cost him no votes. Trump is saying he will simply arrest his foes and it costs him no votes.
America is ready for authoritarianism, with zero doubt. Trump will try to deliver it, should he be elected.

I'm actually ok with this. It should be clear to everyone that US asylum laws are the cause of the immigration surge, and tightening them up is wise.
That said, of course fewer immigrants means our children and grandchildren will be poorer, but I think the best choice of some bad alternatives is to restrict immigration. It will impoverish the nation, but it seems clear that native populations will vote in right wing authoritarians or do utterly stupid stuff like vote in Brexit if there is more immigration than they want.
That said, Republicans are morally corrupt to the core to put the lives of Ukrainians on the line for a US policy goal. But so much of what they do helps Russia. Just endless self-backstabbing from Trump's party to help Putin.

Bets and polls a year from the election are not meaningful. Heck, polls a week out may not be relevant.
It is clear that some are firmly backing trump and some backing biden / democrats and that ratio is darn close to 50/50. We will see next november. History, however, shows that trump consistently loses the popular vote and his swing state appeal has eroded since 2016 with many losses of his endorsed candidates.
