Okay, it probably isn't "fair" to hold President Trump responsible for the plane/helicopter collision. But YOU KNOW that people (I won't exempt myself) would have blamed Biden if something similar had happened in the first two weeks of his term. We have to be honest enough to admit that.
Similarly, when the average price of gas hit $2.99 in mid-2018 (with inflation, the equivalent of $3.75 now), we didn't blame President Trump but said "market forces"--which was true. Yet when gas hit highs during Biden's term, we blamed Joe.
A little consistency would help the discourse, I think.

Trump blaming DEI for the air crash was bad enough but it seems the FAA launched an initiative in 2019 under Trump's administration. It’s still on their website, the FAA boasts they employ people with psychiatric disability, severe intellectual disability and targeted disability.
