Did Trump endorse any of them or vice-versa? Did he do any campaigning in VA? American political parties are large tent coalitions.
'loper come on. There is almost zero daylight between trump and the Republican Party. I know you fight that concept because you want to see yourself as both a Republican and non-Trumper...but you are a rare bird.
If you vote for a Republican you are supporting the trumpist architecture. You just are.
No you aren't. You just aren't. There are tons of state and local policy issues people are voting on. I encourage you to actually learn about them.

I know you don't want to think you are part of the problem...but by voting for Republicans you are voting for the whole big lie, protectionist, cruelty-is-the-message balloon. Normally you can say 'big tent' but these are not normal times. You can see how non-trumpists are being squeezed out of office one by one, relentlessly. That will keep happening.
Don't be a classic 'Sure I voted for the leopards eating people's faces party...I never thought they would eat my face!' guy.

Basically all the ethical strong nontrump conservative republicans have been voted out of office. Anyone Republican who dares tell the truth is most assuredly booed off stage.
I am sure there are some honest elected nontrump republicans but they are a rare and dying breed.
If a Republican candidate can't tell the truth about one of the most fundamental pillars of our democracy, the peaceful transfer of power, if they can't be honest with the public and tell them unequivocally that Trump lost, then they deserve no trust to run our government. They deserve no vote
Not defending Santorum as a human or a politician but the idea that direct democracy for all issues is not necessarily a good thing has merit.
Two issues that come to mind wrt legislation by referendum are:
1) Who gets to determine what measures are up for vote? Such measures do not simply appear out of thin air. Nor are they put forth by a benevolent god. The process by which measures get to appear on the ballot (and which ideas never make it there) will always be problematic.
2) Many/most issues are not simple motherhood and apple pie, yes or no, issues. The complexity of most legislation is beyond what the average voter has the capacity to understand and make an informed decision on.
I am sure that one could come up with a half dozen more reasons why legislation through direct democracy is not always such a good idea.
1. The requirements for placing a question on the ballot initiative (e.g. how many signatures are needed) are determined by the legislature. So they have the ultimate control. I don't think that question itself has ever been on the ballot.
2. Aside from the numerous cases of the legislatures not reflecting the majority opinions of the voters (gun control is the most prominent example), not allowing ballot initiatives also has the danger of elections determined by vocal single-issue voters. As for the "complexity" of issues, I don't think that applies to abortion or marijuana.

In the most amazing instance of both hypocrisy and irony, the Republican house voted to reduce Pete Buttigieg's salary to one dollar. This dysfunctional group who has repeatedly stopped the government from functioning and who will continue to do so, reduced his salary to one dollar because HE wasn't doing HIS job.
And the republicans are wondering why they lose so many elections.

Agip wants you to instead vote for the party of inflation, global instability, declining wealth, increasing taxes, spiraling debt, increased crime, elimination of policing, legalized drugs, males competing in women’s sports, selective prosecution, racist political appointments, overt anti-Semitism, increased hate crimes, etc.

Do you have any idea how ridiculous you sound?
Find me a VA candidate who campaigns on the big lie, protectionism, cruelty-is-the-message, etc... I'll wait.
Wrong. The Constitution is governed by Judeo-Christian principles that overwhelm liberal secularist leanings as a bulwark for liberty and freedom. That is the way the J. Christ-fearing Founders envisioned it during the drafting sessions.
"Judeo-Christian principles" wouldn't be considered an established church for 1A purposes... It's not even a religion. Though maybe it is to you, who knows anymore.
It's pretty sad when liberals feel free, in the absence of percussion, to say Judeo-Christianity is not a religion. Only Sharia Lawism counts as a certified church to today's liberals.

You live in a leftist bubble.
As of 2022 Republicans control both houses of congress in 30 states versus just 17 states for Democrats.
Republicans have the governorship of 28 states versus 22 for Democrats.
Democrats lose a lot more elections than Republicans do.

I really don’t want to spend hours combing through dozens of races. That’s an unfair ask.
Do they say that trump lost the election and Trump was wrong to push for suspending the Constitution?

The non Trumper republicans probably have to steer very clear of election stuff. Just dodge the question and get to the important stuff like drag shows and critical race theory being taught in kindergarten

It's fair to ask for *one* example to back up a claim you made. You can't even do that.
If your view is that no republican VA statehouse candidates are election deniers and none support trump, I have some news for you.
But you are diverting. The big point is that if you vote for Republicans in 2023 and 2024 you are voting for the whole election denying, J6, cruelty-is-the-point, undermining of American institutions, lying is ok, suspend-the-Constitution, corruption is fine and fun, we don't need allies trumpist agenda. If you people stop voting for Republicans, Trumpism will go away. If you keep voting for Republicans it will stay. It's all on you.

Just in case you have any doubt who Trump aspires to be as an intelligent leader of a country. You shouldn't have any doubt by now. But I know Trumpers are slow on the uptake.
Donald Trump: "Kim Jong-un leads 1.4 billion people, and there's no doubt about who the boss is, and they want me to say he's not an intelligent man."
