Congrats to the winners. Lyles closed like Bolt.

Degrasse got cooked.
The final handoff wins no prize, but hey it wasn't a drop. Good job, guys.

I never doubted that Noah Lyles would bring it home --- if we got the baton around safely.
say what you want about the guy but he's one of the best anchors in the world, for sure.
twin 8.84s from Bednarek and Lyles
USA...spend the most money on athletics, almost and infinite amount compared to the rest.
Then act surprised when they take gold. 😂
Proud of this Canadian team.

German women had the fastest times on two of the four legs. Hardly a bum team.
Nobody in a semi-final, handoff merchants
There are no 'merchants' in track and field, it's an objective sport.
i hope kung fu kenny and noah can make up. kenny probably needs to straight up apologize for letting jealousy get the best of him.
The Dutch were very impressive to get third before Jamaica there.
Terrible performance by team GB. Looks like more funding will be cut.

If that's correct Kenny is the real star.
Yes, Noah MF Lyles!!!

Worst thing about these relays is that bum teams like Germany can just be good at handoffs and steal medals.
You do realize the hand off is part of the event, right? You both have to run fast and hand off cleanly? Otherwise, they would just run without a baton.
Surprisingly, Lyles does not have the fastest anchor... (Afrifa at 8.79)

Less money is definitely helpful. 🤡 The UK is in a death spiral.

Noah is a great runner, and I know it's all an act, but he needs to respect his competitors more.
idk what to do with my free time now. Been reading LRC and thinking about WCs pretty much nonstop
37.29 with a bad 2 to 3 handoff and in the rain lol. This team is def capable of of getting the WR in good conditions with good handoffs.
it's tough because teams without individuals in the hunt for medals have an advantage in getting to focus their training. but that's a huge part of the sport. exploiting weaknesses and maximizing your potential in advantageous places.
