That was a uterusy race.
Lame move by Purrier to pull out to lane 2 right at the end when getting passed

Great pacing job Valby 👏
Amazing race by Valby. The top 3 were known to be better than the field but she put in a great effort. Bright future for her
do these pros have no shame, letting a college girl pace them for the majority of the race
Are you aware...Ellie is a mother? The distance version of Alyson Felix

Parker ran an olympic standard and a PB. hell of a job in her first 5000 final.
Looked the freshest at the end also, just doesn't have that extra gear...
Has Infeld always looked so labored?

Mad respect to Valby, she did everything to give herself the best chance.

Scares me for Valby that the 3 favorites are still w her
I’m impressed she dropped all but these 3
Valby’s realistic path was to do exactly what she did and then one of the big 3 to have a bad day. She didn’t have the kick and she knew it.
It's gonna sting for Valby to finally run that Olympic standard after so many tries and get 4th but that was a fantastic race from her. 4th in the United States OTs and taking it to the best in the country isn't bad at for someone coming off of 5 NCAA titles in a year.

I did not expect Cranny to push ESP to the line. That was INCREDIBLE. My favorite race of the meet so far.
She might have had it if Ellie hadn't forced her wide
Ew.
Wow! Now the question is does ESP take the spot or just do the 1500?
Proud of them both—ESP and Cranny. And Valby for setting it up. Way to show how exciting a 5000 can be. You do not want to go to break!
